  • ...que buen tema...

  • So wish I was a teenager in those days. Queen, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet, Rod Stewart. Instead I've to live through Rihanna, Lady GaGa and what not. I wonder which they'll be playin in another 20 years time!

  • This song and 'True' have a special place in my heart. It was late 1983 and I had just had emergency surgery a few days before, which saved my life. I was feeling lonely and depressed in my hospital bed. I turned my portable television set on and happened to watch the Don Herron Show (I'm Canadian). Spandau Ballet were his special guests who were there to perform/promote those two songs and new album. I could only think 'What an incredible voice!' It really lifted my spirits.

  • Yessssss!!!! Gold Always believe in …. Gold, Your indestructible, GOLD!!!

  • this song sucks

  • When I hear Spandau Ballet, I can feel those times run through me...making me smile. I'm grateful and proud to have been there!

  • @silverblade357 I think you're wrong. No one needs to be forced to listen to this, most people choose to. Walk in to an average high school in the UK and ask someone in their teens what they prefer...Justin Beiber or Spandau...Nikki Minaj or Tracy Chapman...JLS or The Beatles...i think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The idea that the 'young generation' only loves the 'modern music' that you're referring to is an idea created by the media and fueled by comments like that of your own...no offence

  • @FYROM100 Well more than likely they'll ask you who any of the listed (besides The Beatles) are. I just finished school and understand why he/she says what he/she says. Don't be in denial, of course there are youths like me who get orgasms for this kinda stuff. But most of today's youth don't know what music is. My friends accuse me of 'Living in the past' and being 'Only caring about 80s music' while most of them listen to emo rock, rap and other crap....

Yessssss!!!! Gold Always believe in …. Gold, Your indestructible, GOLD!!!

  • i think the story in the video was inspierd by Bond-movie "goldfinger " when the first actress really died of the gold-paint on her body while the scond actress had some part of her body ungolden and lived

  • Yesss Gold above $1400 again!!!!

  • Great video indeed.

When I watched it for the first time it kinda reminded me of The Strangler's Golden Brown video, and watching closely, it turns out both videos have shots in the same room, with the columns and the water...

    It's a nice coincidence, no?

  • @raldeco12 i thin of bonds gold ringer..the acrtess that dies of the gold

  • well im 15 and my fav band is Spandau ballet and i know almost all the words to their songs

  • @Weirdo7310

It means you were born with taste and brain son :)

  • @108987 i believe so ahah great song

  • @Weirdo7310 shutup

  • Just about everyone from the tail end of our generation who are now pre-teen or teenagers need to be put in a room and be forced to listen to the greatest hits from the last five decades. I believe it might make more people wake up to the reality that most modern music sucks out loud.

  • @silverblade357 i agree

  • @silverblade357 luckily, at 25 with a 4 year old son, ihe has no option to listen to good music, with a mum like i had who grew up in the 60s nearer did i. And thank god

  • the 1:59 was like a Neo(matrix) thing....maybe just me.

  • Classic song. And the video (now 27 years old) is of such high cinematic and artistic quality, it hasn't aged at all. I still get the chills when Gary Kemp comes in at the end, playing the vocal melody on the piano, while Tony Hadley holds that long, high note. Brilliant.

  • @thebarzangi this boys are gold

  • Thanks Viduka, not only the video, but the lirycs and a lot of info too.

  • This is disco music, good music

  • Awesome i love 80s songs
