I don't see any scary part, just a beautiful view, typical ignorant passenger, buys a plane ticket with the full understanding of what is going to go on, yet the second the airplane gets off the ground he assumes the pilot is a dumb-ass, pilots aren't truck drivers! (even most truck drivers are smart!) we have to work very hard to get into that "scary mountain valley," you have no understand of the extend of training, and knowledge basis we must have just to put your ignorant ass in the air!

This airport reminds me of Finnland ROV - Rovaniemi at the Artic-Circle.

This airport is also lying on a hill.

You have to approach it like an aircraft carrier i.e. you fly quite high over the valley and then the runway/ground comes very quickly near and you toach down.

Jiuzhaiguo Valley and Huang Long are amazing!! Riding a bus above 13,000 feet with all the passengers singing traditional Chinese music. Jiuzhai Valley is the most amazing place that no Westerners have ever heard of!

If your talking about the bleach type of smell it's most likely the cleaning stuff they use. If your talking about the stale kind of smell, it's probably the stale air in the air conditioning/cabin pressurize system. I agree, there's always strange smells on a plane lol.
