For once, my school actually gave a shit about its students and what happens to us. But as far as I know,they stopped caring again. I've dealed with this shit for eight years. Nobody gave a fuck. (not even my parents or my cousins who looked out for me) After so long with dealing with this kind of bullshit, you know that person will snap evenutally. I just haven't yet.

I am those people. It's so unfair...I went to a different school and it all changed. It wasn't me, it was them....malicious and ignorant children encouraged by bad parenting.
A baby only has the survival instinct in he/she, and this makes them - among other things - selfish. Toddlers therefore need CONSTANT reminding of 'sharing' and 'playing nice' which = not taking advantage of the weaknesses of others. Some children are naturally more 'outgoing' than others and sometimes they 'bully' others. If this behavior is never successfully discouraged in toddlerhood, it is likely that a child will bully.

I once hanged around with the wrong crowd who bullied students. They would do their thing, and I would do nothing to stop 'em. Over time, after coming to my senses, I became the bully TO bullies: if they start trouble, my fists were flying in their direction.
Needless to say, I lost more battles than I won, but he and his cronies eventually lost their hold on the majority and "faded away".
In the end, everyone was happier, though I wish I knew what became of the bully...

Teachers don't like school bullying, but we often feel powerless to do anything. Here's an example:
1. The kids harass another while the teacher's back is turned.
2. The bully is "protected" and for some reason he can't be expelled or moved.
3. The victim is autistic and has slow reflexes. This is one of the most common.

A baby only has the survival instinct in he/she, and this makes them - among other things - selfish. Toddlers therefore need CONSTANT reminding of 'sharing' and 'playing nice' which = not taking advantage of the weaknesses of others. Some children are naturally more 'outgoing' than others and sometimes they 'bully' others. If this behavior is never successfully discouraged in toddlerhood, it is likely that a child will bully.

@4hand561 Ignore being bullied? Well, adults can often do that...but unfortunately, children don't always have well developed coping mechanisms. And it's pretty hard to ignore having the crap beat out of you on the way home from school everyday. A lot of people REALLY underestimate the damage that 'schoolyard bullying' can do in someone's life. Anyway, I guess you just want to argue with people or something. I stand by everything I said.

The most disgusting thing I ever heard about bullying is from my friend. He was one of the people who bullied people in school and I asked him once why he did it. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Because it was fun." When I asked him if he ever thought about how the people he was hurting felt, he didn't have anything to say for himself. Bullies just bully other people because they want to draw attention away from themselves. If you stand up to bullies and make fun of them back, then you're putting them in the spotlight. This is a bully's worst fear. Initially they will get pissed at you and become more aggressive, but then they'll back off because they can no longer use you as an easy target. You can't just do it once though, you have to be as persistent as they are.
Trust me, I was a bully once. Not proud of it.

A touching video.
I once hanged around with the wrong crowd who bullied students. They would do their thing, and I would do nothing to stop 'em. Over time, after coming to my senses, I became the bully TO bullies: if they start trouble, my fists were flying in their direction.
Needless to say, I lost more battles than I won, but he and his cronies eventually lost their hold on the majority and "faded away".
In the end, everyone was happier, though I wish I knew what became of the bully...
