i liked it it was good im 13 yrs old and my papaw was kidnapped when he was a state trooper 24 yrs ago but he survived only with a broken leg and broken nose i am thankful for that but now he is 63 years old now but i got his badge and also he was in the airforce
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13. I remember hearing the news while at the firehouse the night of the incident, and the heart stopping feeling that came along with. To my brothers and sister aboard Trooper 2 may you rest in peace. Firefighter/EMT Christopher Shepard MCVFD Station # 27.
I remember hearing about the crash. Love MSP helicopters. Maryland State Troopers are the best on the East coast so are the pilots. Rest In Peace Guys.
Tonya Mallard was a friend of mine, At the time of the crash I was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT with Tonya in Waldorf at Waldorf Sta. 12. I spoke to her just before she got on the helicopter, I'm sure she would be very greatful to whoever made this video. and from all of the Waldorf Volunteers, thank you
Bad weather, obviously, but an important navigational instrument failed as well from what I understand. I know that they are looking into a possible mechanical failure as well.
Great Video..one of the most memorable i have seen. It makes me so sad to think about that crew because i myself was medivaced by the MSP last summer for a head trauma case. They will never be forgotten..Thank You Trooper 2
Great video! I am a FF/EMT at Sykesville and in Baltimore county. Mickey and the whole crew will surely be missed, just remember, they are still here in spirit. What a legacy they have all left behind. Please pray for their families. God bless!
Thanks for this video and tribute to Trooper 2. Steve was a wonderful husband and father to my sister, nieces and nephew and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. The Aviation Division is the greatest group of people you would ever want to know!
My deepest sympathy to your entire family. The aviation division of the MSP is made up of people who are, simply, the finest sort. Though I have not worked closely with them the past few years, my many years in the anesthesia dept. at Shock Trauma by choice involved daily interplay with the pilots and trooper/medics of the MSP. A former paramedic myself, I loved every minute we spent together training, flying and treating patients. They were/are my friends/family/colleagues.
Very nice tribute. Well put together.Thank you fortaking your time to honor the Trooper 2 crew in such a manner. They will be missed but not forgotten, and to all of the Maryland State Police Aviation Division "THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE" when ever the citizens of this state need a hero !
It's a sad time in the LE/first responders community. This crew's actions were nothing less than heroic. Even in the worst of conditions they answered the call and were in the air in an attempt to save 2 young peoples lives. They will not be remembered for the way they gave their lives, but for the way they lived their lives. I encourage everyone to donate to the survivor fund set up on behalf of their families.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of these Hero's and their families. My God be with with you all. Great tribute video they are still "Marylands Finest". God Bless
Lippy, you will be horribly missed... God rest all of their souls. Condolences to the families of all on the flight. Thoughts and prayers to Jordan to make it through this horrific time...From L, J, FC17
A tragic loss of an outstanding crew. Though I didn't know them personally the EMS community is small and they weill be missed. Thank God for what they do. Prayers for the families and blue skies forever to the crew. Thank you for your sacrifice.
R.I.P trooper 2 and its crew and patient.
