Paul had been begging them to get out of the studio and do concerts. Because they were constantly fighting, they couldn't even come up with an agreement about where to do a concert. John and George hated Beatlemania and didn't want to deal with it. In the end, Ringo said 'there's a nice roof on this (apple) building)' and they decided to do this. Later, John and George played live in other venues without the Beatles and loved doing live shows. Paul mourned the end of the Beatles the most.

Then I think the year was 1973, he cheated on Yoko with May Payne in England. That led to Yoko throwing him out of their own house. Then they move to New York, never to return to England again. And I'm a catholic, I believe there is a heaven, and I believe in a god. And I believe John is watching over us. But you have your own beliefs, so believe what you believe.

The devil shows him the bad things he did, so he regrets them in the room. Then god shows him the good things, if he was good most of his life (which he was) then he goes into heaven. Going to heaven is easy, all you do is be a good person, it doesn't matter about beliefs. And you can go to NYC too :)
