I just got one and it appears to have all the right functions for guitar practice, BUT my MP-GT1 claims that all of my 5 downloaded MP3 files are "Non-Supported", the simplest filename being Gentaro.mp3. All downloaded files plays fine on my little Sandisk Sansa MP3 player.
What the heck is going on??
With the battery being charged by the USB port it makes sense to make the AC Power Adapter an option.
You should make another vid and talk about the line out (alternates to headphones) and the specifics of the guitar cancelling feature. I know 90% of the folks out there want to use it for a trainer, but what about the other 10% that want to use it for a "one man band" effect? I want to totally eliminate the guitar tracks.
Not sure what you are asking. It will cancel out "most" of the guitar signal for you. Wouldn't gig this out through a P.A. though if that is what you are asking. But you can jam right along with the song with it.
I got one for Christmas. It really has a lot of cool features, but it's not quite ready for prime time. EXAMPLE: The AC power adapter costs extra - how tacky is that?
I might buy it again when they come out with the Mark II or a newer software release. It really does have a lot of cool features but very buggy software in my opinion.
Wouldn't play my AC/DC files -- according to internet posters, filenames with "/" or other special chars cause errors. WTF?! Error messages did not help me troubleshoot this at all.
Documentation is sketchy at best, and the user manual comes with two additional loose page inserts, but no troubleshooting information.
Some really annoying bugs. Example: Would not play AC/DC songs. These same files play on my computer and every other cheap Mp3 player we have. Had to go online to interpret errors I was getting. Apparent reason: A 'slash' anywhere in the filename title won't work!
Would be nicer if the aluminum edges on the sides of the front face were chamfered or radiused, instead of being sharp like an ice skate.
Customer support - Among the worst I have ever experienced. DO NOT expect to talk to a person! EXAMPLE: When I first called, machine message said techs were 'at lunch from 12 to 1'. Then when you call back after lunch, they say, 'leave a detailed message'!! I'd consider buying this again when they refine it a little bit.
Very informative in short amount of time. Thanks!

Yes

I cannot recommend these. Mine constantly locks up and then you cannot even shut it off. Sound quality is sketchy at best.

Hey, I just got one and it keeps locking up and I keep resetting it and it won't show up on the computer.

How is the sound quality at the slowest speed?
Which I read somewhere is 50% of original.

Also how are the effects?
I have a Korg Pandora PX4D which has some great sounds.
