  • @zozanday they will stop making expansions the last one will be up to 250 O.O

  • I just deleted my trail... LOL

  • OMG UR THE FATTY FROM SOUTH PARK WOW CHAPTER!!!!!!!

  • @depulzo

Why? just tell my why? all because hes abit overwaight hes suddenly the guy from south park!? YOU DESPIZE ME YOU skinny IMATURE RETARD!

  • @ReconxPuddin im not skinny and im not trying to offend him.

maybe u hav a problem with your self. and with ur body. thats why im not going to offend u either.

    dont care.

  • I've played WoW since Beta. Which I think is 6 or 7 years? It's true you can get addicted, but it's all about managing your time. If you go about the game just playing it because, then it's probably time to quit.

  • I played wow and thought it was garbage and i still do.. makes me laugh people cant have enough self control over their own lives.

  • I'm married (16 years), we have 2 kids, been working for over 20 years and I've been playing MMOs since Everquest (1999). I'm currently playing WoW Cata and I actively raid (11/12 bosses downed).

How am I able to keep a job, stay happily married, and play WoW (or any video game)?

Just like any hobby, WoW isn't my top priority! God, Family, Job, then Hobby! One of the main reasons people are "addicted" to WoW is because they have this voice in their head that says things like, "I got to ge

  • Everybody needs to stop telling people to quit playing and get a life etc etc, how about you rationalize what you're doing and get the most enjoyment out of all activities, including WoW.

  • so you still wow free, I'm fighting my wow addiction, it's seriouly messing with my life

  • Omg... where the fuck are you at ? you look like your in a fucking corner in the dead mines or some texas chainswaw lair.

  • I was WoW addict and I am feeling sorry for every fucking second I spend playing it.

Now, I am finally happy, going out with my friends, basketball, girlfriend...

I suggest to all people that are trying to stop playing WoW just delete, cancel your account , do not even think about it just do it, it will make your life better, believe me. ;)

  • Rational thoughts? Have a job?

Just move out of your mom's basement, fatty.

Come one, you are 35 years ago. Loser.

  • lol been playing for 5 years... a few game cards aint nothin. I tried to quit. Shits like crack (which i stopped) but wow... you just dont stop playing WoW. Sure you stop for a month, 3 months, maybe 5 months, but you have one event in your life that reminds you of that epic moment of lighting that gnome afire and you cant resist re activating that god damn account. - Deadrisining Lethon

  • @GoldenRing1989 its a small world where players enter to kill bosses and get rewards and its called instance as well

  • p e d o p h i l e

  • bro did u picture ur life to be like this when u were a teen

  • i thought i might be abit addicted to wow untill a few months ago where i just got so damn boored with the game i deleted the shit and havnt played it since..i mean when cata came out and I thought this will be the 3rd time i gotta lvl and get gear again..fuck that

  • Virtual economies are great. There is a major parallel between different types of economies and for the basics, they are the same. Enjoy free time! dont let wowers tell you when to play and walk away when you want. WOW is great! YOu will learn alot about yourself and others! Then you can leave, wow is too complicated for ne outside of wow to comment. Post your char name if you like to make a comment here. Geestacks from SC, out!

  • The truth will set you free no matter what the world around you says. F the United states of embarassment and your wallstreet/londonbanker cronies! DO not conform unless! make decisions based of Fact like in Science class. Is the game alot to do and never ending, fuck yea! What a sweet deal for only 13 US a month. I am soo happy i found wow. I am rich in game btw. i played it to my specs and left. can go bak anytime. Great game! Go get addicted to crack pls so we can make an end to this vid

  • YOYO TruNorth15! LVL that fucking paladin you noob. 70 times sooo what! WOW is the BOMB! I can no longer afford to run my guild or pay for vent ne more. i do not mind. Addiction is bad and im not going to pretend like i know hwat it is.But im glad your addicted to the right game. image being addicted to like frozen throne! lolz You guys picked the best game of all time! it never ends! I love it! Wish i could play more! Thank you Blizzard!LOok at yourself not blizzard as to why yur addictd

  • One question.. If it make you happy why should you quit???

  • You quit WoW, now it's time to move out of your mom's basement.

  • some people play tennis all their lives but thats considered a hobby.... an addiction only is so when it is a problem

  • @dalolman denial is the first sign to an addiction. its not a hobby when you schedule your real life around your role playing life. WoW addiction is no joke.

  • @smatchim0 i do agree with you there. What i meant was for many people WoW is a genuine hobby (i.e. a worthwhile pursuite in exchange for their time). Furthermore, to attach value to someone elses hobby is arbitrary, as everyone has different value systems (i.e. hunting is a hobby yet not for everyone, so is tennis, as is postage stamp collecting). Yet if that hobby becomes detrimental to you (i.e. your internal or external environment), then this is no longer a hobby but an addiction.

  • i miss playing world of warcraft

  • baww baww i played counter strike for about 4 years straight

  • All jokes aside and fuk these guys, thats real...Someone that can admit they are lost in a video game and took it to far..good stuff on seeing that and moving on..we live one life.why waste it on a redunent video game....

  • this niggah so bad he cant get a credit card had to buy prepaid card..i wanna rape my mom and stay in her basement while pwn'n noobs

  • I wan a play wow now sounds fun thanks dude

  • Warcraft is designed around the variable ration reinforcement principle. This means that the best way to optimize a desired behavior in a subject is to hand out rewards for a desired behavior. Behavior in Warcraft is dungeons/PVP/questing. Rewards being valuable items that improve your character. There is a sense of addiction to this game, but most of the time events in your life will either increase or decrease your WOW time.

  • @Gunter8202 Variable ratio?

  • get out of ur moms house

  • I am still addicted to wow, but instead of leaving the game itself, I made a private server, and I am persueing a career as a game designer.

I am also doing very well in limiting the time I play.

I just hope other people learn to limit themselves.

  • cool

  • wow is a choice.. if some one sed you wanna come here with ud you can say yes!!

  • jesus.. everyones a paladin

  • It does look like he lives in a basement...>_>

  • are you the WoW addict off of south park? lol

  • Wow sucks imo.

  • lol he lives in his mothers basement.

  • jesus christ you think your so important, don't you...ppl should get a psycho-analysis when they buy a webcam.

  • @JaydenCrowe but then you wouldn't pass

  • ur mom chillin upstairs?

  • my boyfriend and hsi friends play it

  • guy needs to stop stuttering and spit it out, it got boring

  • During the low point of my addiction, I would give oral sex for gamecards, the worst day of my life was selling my body for the BC xpac and a gamecard, 4+ hours of being a sex slave for a stupid game :(

  • @Rachael4341 wtf lol

  • @Rachael4341 Are you serious? :( Thats not cool. :(

  • @Rachael4341 what the fuck O.o i seriously hope you're not joking around, pelase don't be offended i just find it hard to beleive :( *hug*

  • Well bye get to play

  • Thank you that realy help let us know that sameone cares about addiction of wow I also play and want to stop but it's hard but I hope one day I can leave befor it's to leat I even finish with my girl cause of this stuped game

  • He reminds me of Keith from The Office (UK) lol.

  • after 4 yrs of bore-craft i had to get out of it and the sad part is not realising the game was so addictive it actually made me forget completely about everything else aside from my basketball training once a week.

anyway once u present WoW players get off the game u'll be much better off besides did anyone else know women come in a real life form and not pixelated?

  • i have played wow for 5 years and still playing

  • nice video ... i played wow for 2 years 8 months ago i quit and i really miss my hunter /cheers

  • Someone wonna help me ?

i am 17, persuing fun and getting laid.

instead, just like the person who made the video, i am sitting at home, skype chatroom of 17 people i know IRL ...

all we do is the repetative gameplay every1 else does.

    and we like it.

i am looking for a way to quit it, and the problem is, i myself cant do it, no1 else to blame but myself right ?

to show you how adicted i am, i have all classes at 80,preist at 61

saying this doesnt feeel lick an achivment.

    help me ffs ...

  • You are NOT looking for help, are you? You just want to show off how good you are. I bet you are not even really 17, you are just a sad, over weight 40 year old virgin.

No one gives a shit about how addicted you are. Go cry in that virtual world you come from.

If you feel like you have nothing to do, create other 10 accounts and level all classes to 80 or 90 whatever the level limit is. :-)

  • i was actualy looking for a mature responce.

clearly you can not produce one.

well, i dont need help quiting anymore anyhow, i did it.

so its a pitty you felt like hiding behind your deskop to make a confrontation to an issue that does not involve you. More specificaly, immature people like you.

your channel says you are 28, more like 28-20 if you ask me.

grow up kid, get a gf and a life

  • @xxveskoxxbg Lol i cant lie some games can be kinda addicting, but WoW is the gayest fucking game in the world... My advice is, Throw that piece of shit game in the garbage, Delete everything related to that game off your computer, get high, go get laid, and then buy a better game... (NOTE: The getting laid part will make sure you dont get addicted to video games again)

  • :) you tryed wow and you suck at it, right? I feel for you ^^

  • nice vid man !

  • you know exactly what your talking about..all true

  • Good job?? Its simple. stand up, leave computer. It does not take a lot to share this. This video is to inform another person in particular. just so happens we can view it to. Love you all : )

  • he has 2 years of game time outa all them cards. the card is 2 months each. an he has 11 wow. thats alot of cards.

  • lol i have 5 years but i only play 2-4hours a day

  • Seriously man, good job!

  • Thanks for sharing

  • Comment removed

  • Good man takes guts to share an addiction with thousands of viewers, i expect you ALL to show this man some respect!

  • cool vid m8

  • ...Why are you in a basement lol

  • Comment removed

  • hey man i know what its like when wotlk came out my computer wouldnt support it and wen it wouldnt let me on it was several months till i could get something that could run it. no i didnt consider myself an addict till after that cause the cold turkey effect was terrible, i was havin rage control probs and my attention lvl just plumited. so little sujestion too those who wanna quit. dont go cold turkey ease urself off wow like u would do for any addiction

  • great video.

  • yo,u rock !

  • good stuff man, thanks for sharing.

  • I was addicted to a MMRPG call EverQuest, for over ten years. but quit over a year ago.

Just the damage it caused in those ten years I will never be able to get back.

over 20 hrs everyday starting from 7 years old to just over 17 years old. I warn all just reformat your Hard Drive and put the disc in the microwave before setting it on fire. After that seek a consular and slowly start removing yourself from all connections of the game.

I will tell you it is not easy, and very hard to quit it.

  • Everyone wants and needs a sense of importance. No matter what anyone does with their life, they do it for this. WOW provides, somewhat deviously, this sense. And YouTube is popular as sex for the very same reason.

  • You need to get out of the basement and experience the world. You seem like a smart guy and it would be a shame for your obesity to end your life prematurely.

  • I was addicted for 4 YEARS and i stoped playing because i deleted my 80 deleted it from harddrive and i dont have enough space for installing it (im using a laptop)

and im glad i got out of the game WOW!!!

  • world of warcraft addiction is bullshit!!

I have been playing off and on for almost 6 years, it is not a lifestyle it is a GAME!

  • hasnt been around six years so grats

  • you fail, like hardcore 8metalelder8

  • Great video, dude. Helped me alot.

  • I lost almost all of my friends to wow

  • owned

  • yep, that game pretty much owns them.

  • one more thing if you want to control your addiction just do the parental controls or what ever to limit your hours on the game if i was addicted i would do that

  • me i wouldnt say im addicted ill buy a game card play for 2months then quit for like 3-4months ive only got 3gamecards which is 6months and i only have a level 78 and a level 55 and believe me i could have had 2level 80s but meh i only play it when i have free time but good VID and i might get one tommorrow i havent played since march

  • I had a friend on Xbox Live that tried out WoW....and he hasnt signed on in over a year. The game stole his life.

  • your basement is creepy O_o

  • 7:08 to 7:16 thats how I quit. realised it wasn't fun, realised I wa sjust sitting in Dalaran doign nothing...

  • probaly because your gear is shit and no one wants you for raids

  • Yeah it is shit, but why? Because I quit playing when WotLK came out... I've probably done harder shit than you ever will. Try a pre BC raid managing 40 people doing shit that was damn near impossible. AQ40 took skill, none of the stuff now does, unless of course you're one of those path paving guilds who make the strats.

  • Why did you come on this vid?

    Just to leave that comment?

    And hes the "no lifer"?

You make me laugh, how about you go back to school and learn how to spell !

  • It's a game guys, moderation..if you have an addictive personality steer clear if all MMOs

  • I don't think you are entirely accurate on the matter. I haven't played other MMO's but I have played WoW and I can tell you that it can get anyone addicted to it. I actually believe that the majority of the 11 million people playing it are addicted to it.

  • you're right man life dosen't revolve around video games but what we do in life not our super pwn lv 80 night elf hunter

  • very good video, im addicted to this shit to around 3 years and i cant leave. i tried to leave many times, but unsuccessfully all the time. thats sad, i want to leave this shit because its a drug and all gamer who play this are addicted and its a drug for them. (sry for my bad english)

  • im not addicted and i play for 1-2 hours

  • lawla my mom won't talk to me because i left her guild

  • @wigglz1 heh

  • @rockyqw12 Yeah I mean its done and over lol But yea it turned out ok but shes still on the game like crack

  • sorry man but only lvl 67 pally with 11 cards dosent look like ur addicted

  • Maybe he had that pala whole vanilla, so maybe he was addicted back then. TBC came out, he lvled some levels and realised it was shit

  • only saw 4 cards

  • 15 bucks a month? How is that hard on your income? I mean wow...5 bucks out of 3/4 of your paychecks and its paid for for one month. You people must be broke as hell.

  • HAHA these are just 3 gamecards cant fool us

  • Your right on the loot farming, it is addicting. I've played over a year now, and have come to terms that if its not wow on your spare time it would be tv, or xbox or ps or w/e. Granted the time needed for raid is overwhelming for some, so just don't raid and problem solved. Going from casual gamer to raider is usally the (big change) for most, thats when others see they have a problem. Every gen will have some form of a time sink, from the old consoles to whats coming out 10 years from now.

  • thanks man ..

u givin us a good notes

right now im thinking about buyin this game "wow"

    u know why??

i just wanna see why all this ppl

    addiction to wow !!!

    thanks alot ..

  • Can I refer you??

  • can youi talk faster holy shit

  • i've played WoW since june of 2007 and just quit a few months ago... wasn't hard,.... addiction is stupid and people are overreacting, this guy is no hero, he's in the basement and wants some compliments... i never saw all 11 game cards.... he counted out 3 that i saw, and the other times he went down, sounded like he ruffled the cards around and brought it up, not fast enough for you to see how many, probably just 3

  • LOL! There were only 3 cards! That's hilarious. I agree with you about people over-reacting and saying they were "addicted". I say they just want attention since they are no longer getting attention from their guildes or friends on the game.

  • lol, is that your moms basement right there chubby ?

  • World of warcraft is about money money money it isn't about the players it's about the money it's turned very ugly and nasty these days addiction has become serious so people don't care and plus it's become a unemployed paradice to

  • Great work, TrueNorth15, a Real Hero is someone like you,who s able to admit his past regrets bravely. Our world needs more people like you, to urge every addicts/potential addicts to check your horse on overhanging cliffs or precipies before falling deeper ...into nightmare

  • as long as there is no sense of life, you can play WoW everytime you want .

  • Well if you pace your self like most people, it doesn't become a job, it doesn't become a life style you must have WoW at the end of your day. People make a big deal, about a game online. I play WoW and I don't play but 3 hours maybe a day or a little less. And then I stop. I get where your coming from but that doesn't mean you have to make it a job title =\ Either or, understandable video, and Rock on =\

    **Laters**

  • 2 years and u only got 67?

  • Jajaja. True. But keep in mind that he worked.

  • so...

  • He hasn't time to play a game like a 17 years old guy. Did you need to ask?

  • ask what? you are not making any sense

  • Stupid the first comment, stupid the second one. Bye.

  • ok u still aren't making any sense...

  • how come all teh l00zorz are paladins?

  • How come all the "l00zorz" are wow players?

  • Man I been playing this shit since 2005. I'm waiting to raid Ulduar right now...

  • wow 22 months!!

  • it's better with gamecard...i have only one...cause i haven't played for so long...only 2 or 3 months

  • lol pay monthly or per 6 monthes...

  • ive been playing sicne release lol 22 months is nothing...

  • 22 months... wow

  • yeah man WoW is just a serious waste of time. i chose to buy a month here and there when i have time to waste.. other than that just don't play. life is too beautiful to waste

  • hey good vid man i played it for a year almost every day but now i play it for maybe one hour every weekend with freinds.

  • you speak about your friend ,but you don't speak about your self.Man thank god that you just find out that games make people addictive

  • Im happy you got over it. Respect.

  • Well, first thanks for your blog. My husband started playing the game and got rly into it. I think you are right about it becomes a lifestyle..and sadly the *real* world can be a bit challenging itself and not always victorious. So WOW is tempting in that you get *grats* for little accomplishments. Where in comparison, life has little *grats or pats on the back. Sadly, I have become a WOW addict. I don't fit the demographic either. I'm sure what the answer is..thanks for post.

  • hes right im mby gonna quit but i cant im 14 year old boy and i have played for 2 years.. and i have 3 lvl 70s i cant stop the gmae just continues continues u can never stop.....

ive lsot my social life i only talk to my frinds in wow never meet them i only meet them in wow this is crazy....... i play like 6 hours a day and on weekends all day long..... replay help me quit... im jsut so exited because WOTLK comign out then i can lvl 80 and i rly wanna do that buy this is getting my exam lower:(

  • Do the following.

    1. Delete all your main characters.

    2. Delete the game folder on your harddrive.

    3. Break all your wow cdes in half.

    4. Cancel your account.

    5. Enyoy your new life. :)

  • LESS QQ MORE PEW PEW

  • 2 years and only a lvl 67 pally... wtf?

    Right on with quiting tho.

Fuck WoW that shit is a trap and will eat ur life away.

  • so true but you knoe i see it as if im having fun well i may as well play it

  • lol its alrite, world of warcraft is a quality game, better than that real life shit. chances are more happy playing that than dealing with real affairs

  • I hope you dont mean it seriously. Yes, u can spend ur whole life in fron of a computer, without any work and without any life quality... but will it make u happy? no! Of course it may be that you laugh and have fun with some members of ur guild... but u cant compare that with rl! It's way better to meet a person, so sports in a group and have nice days with friends! I hope u will see that later on, because every wow life is a wasted life.

  • man good point very good point !!

  • Nice video man!

    Takes courage.

  • LOL, is that your basement?

  • mate if it's fun keep going were not playin for some chest plate or whatever

  • Guys stfu being horrible to him. He can do what he likes. He has an addiction. Leave him alone.

  • i save so much money from playing WoW... either i goto the pub and damage my liver or i can stay at home and play wow. either sit and watch TV or interact with ppl online. either i go out for a meal/activity 3 times a week and waste money or i can just stay at home.

i play sports, i meet friends, i have a "social" life, but i also play alot of wow! i cant see the problem my friend! i think you have your own problems which you are blaming on wow

  • IM sort of the same but with Cs...

    ITs kinda Geeky

but now ive started to play more sport.

  • Not only can I read and count I can spell too. like I know how to spell the word minute, see I just did it. IF I were to spell it minuite people might think I was retarded or something but I'm not because I know how to spell. ;)

  • O and theman1187 im surprised you can a. count and b. read you illiterate fook :) keep up the good work north and breathe the fresh air. :)

  • That aside this guy speaks a hell of a lot of sense , this game does become a lifestyle the minuite you start hardcore raiding , the simple fact is you have to be online at raid start time otherwise you wont get a place , therefore you are actually running wow around your life ; as you have to do everything in the day and be back for raid time . Try raiding all night every night for 5 - 6 months then come back and tell me its not a lifestyle change .

  • For all you fucking losers who leave regarded comments to this guy i hope you have an untimely demise fall down your own stairs and fracture every bone in your body, but most importantly your necks .

  • i think you ought to level that pally already

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • memories, met a lot of people(though ive been only in like 4 guilds over the years) so i had to de everything and cancel the account. Anyways i still feel addicted to this game... sometimes i think about all ive been through inside the game and i still remember people i played with at start. The only guy who knew i was going to quit told me to sell my account on ebay but i couldnt do this...no1 plays on my account except me. Its like selling yourself for a couple of euros...the memory of my

  • quit wow like 5 months ago i've been playing almost since it was launched.. it was soo hard for me to do it because i was so attached to my character(ne hunter) i couldnt tell it to my guild in their face XD. Next year i have big exams and i dont want to fail... well when i was playing wow my time spent with school time turned into raid time or farm primals/quests. It was impossible for me to just walk away from it, had over 200 days played on hunter, almost best hunter gear, and tons of

  • Lol he looks like a moonkin

  • nice vid!

  • i know exactly how you feel...4/8 tier 6 priest, i go on WoW everyday...the only way out of this game is me becoming broke. good vid btw

  • ladysguy ... hehe. I won't even bother.

Truenorth, great vid. I could listen to you all day man.

  • hehe thanks

  • nice video man.

  • Truenorth15 you are so right /suscribe.

  • Ladysguy you don't understand how its like so go fuck yourself you prick.

  • I was addicted too. Blizzard has developed a very good rewards system to keep people feeling like they're accomplishing something when they play. I'm glad you got out of it. It's an occasional temptation for me to get back into it. Knowing that other people have struggled with this helps. thanks.

  • And now he is a Youtube addict

  • Dude you are correct the game is designed to never end,so all you have to say is "Hay guys gotta work tommorrow see ya" You dont have to stay in raid, dungeon or etc...Peopla will understand. Also my other word for everybody who has a partner that is addicted so hard it consunes all thier time is"Glider"

  • dude ladysguy is so right lol im 14 i
