  • great video Bobby, learned a lot as I just bought one myself. And BTW, in 1942 the Germans were winning the war in Europe. I wish these knuckle heads actually knew their history before opening their pie holes. Your statement was not a slam on the Allies, just an actual fact at that juncture of the war.

  • Slight issues with this video. 1. The bolts are just polished steel not stainless, they can and will rust. 2. The sights are in Meters not yards. 3. The sights were reduced on the M38 and other carbines due to lower mussel velocities not because of the inability to see a target.

  • wonderful review, thank you

  • I love to watch people who love to shoot their mil surplus guns and share. Thanks for sharing

  • 7.62x54r is also used in the PKM and all the analogous eastern LMGs and GPMGs like the M84, Vz. 59 or Chinese Type 67.

  • i love the mosin nagant. very simple and packs a punch. my rifle has a few problems like most, such as a sticky bolt, and its off by a foot at 100 yards, but i love it none-the less.

  • "looks like the germans were gonna win the war" wat are u talkin about made in cccp

  • @unrealhit88 Yes, "looked like the germans were gonna win the war", which is why the desperate and fevered pace of wartime production in the soviet bloc, resulted in rough and ready machining and finishing of the rifles and other equipment produced during that time. Apologies if I was unclear.

  • that rifle looks at home in your hand dude nice video

  • I love how you keep the bullets in your shirt pocket.

  • I like how well you control kick its almost too good........

  • I'm getting a Red Green version of a Canadian tank. You in a wheel chair with a Mosin blazing away. Love your videos. They're well thought out, informative and jargon free.

  • ya there was about 17,000,000 of them made thats why there so cheap

  • Great vid, very informative, keep up the good work.

  • isn't there a magazine on the bottom of the rifle?

  • @Halo3worldatGTA Non-removable, you load it by stripper clip like the m1-garand.

  • great sniper rilfe

  • @MrGangstabangsta

Yes the sniper versions of this weapons are fantastic. The standard infantry ones are...well the kind of rifle you supply an army of 20 million. My Izzy is no tack-driver but accurate enough to do the job.

  • Kar98 is the answer to your question :)

  • Ahhh The Mosin Nagant This Rifle Is Amazing Especially When You Think About The Cost You Cant Go Wrong One Question How Much is 7.62x54 Ammo Cost If Your Not Buying Surplus Ammo

  • 18 bucks per 20 pack of Prvi partizan soft point hunting ammo at my local

    .

  • @BobbyIronsights are you kidding me? What are the cigarettes? may not Russian. American cigarettes found the worst in the world with pesticides (sorry my english

  • meh i got my rounds for 12.50 for 20 bucks. why did you capitalize every word?

  • @moosemanzion i got a box of 20 203grain silver bear soft points at my local gander mountain for $14

  • that's it

  • True sniper variants are highly collectible.

  • because of the scope, scope mount, and turned down bolt

  • they are usally very cheap u can be one in good condition for 130 bucks

  • ur a beast nice vid how much is the rifle?

  • Hi :D

Your videos are awesome. Thanks for sharing. I bought this rifle myself like 4 months ago. Really enjoying it :). I have a question about the next gun I want to buy. I have an Bulgarian Arsenal AK47 and an Mosin Nagant 91/30. I have the oppertunity to buy an K98k mauser in perfect condition for 300 Euro's, or I can buy an Walther P22 pistol for 280 Euro's. I don't know wich I should chose. What do you think? Do you have any experience with any of these guns?

    Best regards ;)

  • the dp-28 is the pan fed machine gun you were talking about

  • Thanks!

  • 3:05 - Yeah, just ask spartan365, he inadvertently did that and basically rammed the next round tip onto the primer and blew the charmbered round up...or so I gather.

  • Spartan765

  • the pkm uses the 7.62x54r so you know

  • Man that awesome! =) Such a nice gun!

  • Great video, are you a member of CGN by any chance? Your name seems remotely familiar :D
