@tallpaul521 Brilliant, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. The author was our friends brother, we were in a band in Liverpool at the time and he was going to bring Gloria to see us, but unfortunatley she became too ill, it would have been lovely to have met her.

She seemed so down to earth and sweet..not like the image of the wild party girl. I wonder if the author still has her favorite suede stilletto boots?
