  • you guys have big lungs ( and big hearts) each sentence takes me 3 breaths to chant unlike you - Vinu (eastern catholic from Kerala, India)

  • Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this.

  • Very beautiful hymn. Very captivating.

  • God is fake and a myth.

May the forces protect the Copts from the Demonic muslims.

  • My prayers for the poor Coptics in Egypt being murdered by their Salafist government...God bless you Brothers. And take care.

  • Oh Narayana Lord of the Shaktis..

  • @christorthodox08 Orthodox Catholic Church World Wide Orthodox Catholic Ministry ? there is only one truly Holy Church of God, find it within the Orthodox Holy Tradition.

  • I LOVE the golden picture of Jesus as King and the people worshiping him. 00:42

  • Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!!

  • I love the arabic better than the english because the english is not the pure translation from arabic

  • this hymn always reminds me of a major terrorist act on the copts at 4:46....i get the shivers when i hear that bit of the response

  • Christian Mythology is among the best ones!

  • @hyugairuka

    Christianity is not mythology!

  • @Loiginer All the myths that tells you they have seen a god or a divine being, called as mythology, because it's just a fairy tail. I don't mean there is no god, but the god religions tells us, nothing but a mythology. But i like christianity.

  • @hyugairuka

It is just, and only, your opinion...

    Christ is Risen!

  • @Loiginer It isn't my opinion only. Every person that live in 21th century sees religions as mythology.

  • @hyugairuka

Ok, it is your modern opinion, every people that was fucked by the midia and moden culture, but man, no me! ;)

  • @hyugairuka: And also not me. Atheism is a mythology for dumb and silly people as we can see from the communists. LOL

  • @adamantis4657 Well, i'm not an atheist, so save your preconception to yourself. Christianity is nice, but has no reality inside it. Only myths.

  • @hyugairuka: How can u say christianity has not reality inside it? That is ridiculous because it means that u know the "inside" of christianity - I realy can not believe that u know it.

What is a myth? Explain why christianity is a myth? I am curious.....

  • @hyugairuka ---hahaha! You're really one ignorant moron. To say that Christianity is "only myths" just goes to show how even in this information era, there are still ignorant fools like yourself. You better go do a little research- First of all, the New Testament EPISTLES (letters) were written by first century leaders being PERSECUTED for their faith. Second, you have the Historical writings of the first century Fathers, Pliny the Younger, Josephus, etc.

  • @hyugairuka This is a lie that has been regurgitated for years. The fact is there is little resemblance between Christ and the pagan myths. The fact remains there is plenty of historical sources both Christian and non-Christian to support the fact that Christ indeed existed. Repeating what you seen in a movie is never a good idea.

  • @hyugairuka The most deceptive mythology is the one of the atheists, who are trying to convince people that such a great Universe was coincidentally created by "nothing" and has no purpose.

  • @panarkas It's the same mythology that Satan taught to Eve - that Man is god. May God protect us from all forms of evil and lead us on His path.

  • Thank You for loving us Jesus and suffering to save us!

  • The chanting when done together is awesome. The deacons within the Church need to develop chemistry to do this right, unfortunately we haven't been able to harmonize quite yet but it'll be so worth it when we do. :)

  • I love the arabic recording but I HATE the English one. Sounds so fake and weird...

  • @mys4100 I'm English, and love my language, but this sort of chanting does not suit the English language at all.

  • ibram iyad rocks

  • very blessing

  • This hymn comforts my soul, Oh Egypt I I look forward to the glory that is prophesied for you. When I wake in the morning I will remember the Copts in my prayers. You suffer not in vain.

  • wow 1:18 is a very touching image

  • Are there any English lyrics for this?

  • @GenesisforJESUS

O Lord, God of the powers, return and behold from heaven, and look and visit this vine, restore and establish Her, this which Your right hand has planted.

Alleluia,Alleluia,Alleluia. Bless the herbs and the plants. May Your mercy and Your peace be a fortress to Your People.

"Holy,Holy,Holy,Lord of Hosts, heaven and earth are full of Your glory."

  • what you guys don't even know is, some muslims will pass us the way and covert to jesus and be save before we even realize, there might not be no room, no spot left from them for us in the heaven.

everybody have to fight for his spot up there. be aware guys.

    may GOD help us all.

  • @shalimaar444

nooo.. why would we have to fight for what we already all possess. The kingdom of heaven is for everyone, the bounties of God are endless and neverending in splendour. Never see limitations with God, that is like being in the box looking out.

Blessings and peace upon you and all on this forum

    :)

  • @BaelZozgoreth AMEN...Blessed be the sons of Abraham (Ibrahim( and blessed be the children of the Lord who LOVE HIM and keep His Holy Commandments! Blessed be the name of our Only Lord and Savior who came down and DIED for ALL MANKIND...AMEN

  • @jesushelpme28 No need to use profanity.

  • @jesushelpme28 lol I've actually never been to Egypt! I'm Canadian and I'm a convert!

  • Comment removed

  • @jesushelpme28 What is your point? Did you just copy that from a website and expect it to make a point?

  • @jesushelpme28 25 letters. Just because one language adopts some letters from another language, doesn't mean it's the same. English adopted the Latin alphabet, but don't tell me English is the same as Latin! And on top of that, English and French both have the same exact alphabet! But they aren't the same language!

  • @jesushelpme28 Also, the Coptic Alphabet is NOT Greek, though very similar. It contains 32 letters, 25 which are borrowed from the Greek alphabet, and 7 which are unique to the Coptic Alphabet, sounds the Greek alphabet didn't represent well.

  • @jesushelpme28 How about "pio-ou emefiot, nem epshiri, nem piepnevma ethowab, icjen tino nem sha eneh ente nieneh teero ameen"? Understand any of that, aside from "piepnevma"? And how about "piekhristos aftonf"? My point is that Greek and Coptic are two distinct languages, even though the Copts adopted some Greek words into their lexicon when they converted to Christianity, simply because they did not have an equivalent word in their native tongue, such as "piepnevma" and "piekhristos".

  • @jesushelpme28 I'm glad you brought those up. Those are all congregational responses. You'll notice that in the liturgical services of the Coptic Orthodox Church, nearly all the congregational responses are in Greek, as well as that Deacon responses. Almost all of what the priest says is in Coptic. From what I understand, this is because the spoken language of the early Coptic Church was Greek, and that is why the congregation would respond to the priest in the language they language of choice.

  • @jesushelpme28 You again????? lol

  • @jesushelpme28 Coptic language is ancient Greek? Not exactly. It is the spoken language of the ancient Egyptians, borrowing only the Greek alphabet (while adding a few unique ones) to write. Liturgically, however, the services of the Coptic Orthodox Church does contain some Greek (such as "Agios O Theos"), but it must not be confused with Coptic.

  • @jesushelpme28 this is in arabic lol

  • Greetings from one member of the Orthodox Roamnian Curch . You have a verry nice song and this is somthing new for me. God bless you!

  • Greetings from the still Latin-speaking Romans!

  • wait a minute, the Coptics don't speak Arabic do they could have sworn they spoke Greek

  • @maximunoutlaw32 they spoke hieroglyphics, the spoken sounded very similar to greek but the written as you know was very different after the gospels were written we adapter our written to a mixture of greeko-egyptian alphabet which is why greeks can understand most of our hymns..

  • @maximunoutlaw32 No, Coptic=comes from ancient egyptian language, influenced some by greek

  • Greetings from the Byzantine Katholics in USA!!! I Love You Copts, and am reading about Our Lady Of Zeitoun!! I love your Traditions, and ways!!!

  • greetings from the ethiopian orthodox brothers and sisters!

  • I would like to learn from my Coptic brothers and sisters the history of Christianity in Egypt in general an the holly family specific "locations, actions, verses in the bible or the New Testament talking about it...etc." I would appreciate that a lot.

  • I listen to this everyday...it gives me a sense of comfort. God bless...

  • I love Coptic hymns, so beautiful and so pure...God bless my orthodox brothers and sisters

  • come back to the calcedonian dogma.

  • @hailadanmihail How about you guys just get rid of Chalcedon and its unnecessary new definition of Christology so you can be more Orthodox. We are happy to have kept true Orthodoxy intact. Accepting new dogmas is dangerous, and as Chalcedon proved, dividing...

  • @xlamentx Yes definitions of mystery are problematic ...the Eastern Church had no reformation....I wonder why?

  • @Lisnageeragh to prevent theological chaos

  • I love it. Thanks for sharing!

  • lord bless us have mercy on us in your holy and righteous name Amen.
