It's OK. It's old news now. Unfortunately, my little guinea pig has now died, and I love all of the SO much! But I'm afraid to get another one because there's no vet who can care for them when they get sick. On the up side, we have a wonderful new vet for our cats. There's a video on here about a trauma we had we the one I found. Through all that, we ended up with a good cat vet... although the cats now have to eat prescription food for the rest of their lives =/
I really don't know. They're not allowed outside in our county. It's an ordinance that was passed to cut down on the feral cat population, and to save them from getting feline diabetes. So mine just get to play on the screened pool deck. They love it out there =)
We weren't sure. A co-worker's children found her in their yard. She was abandoned. And the boys that found her were loud! Needless to say, that's not a good environment for a bunny. I had her for 6 years. She was full grown when the boys found her. That's all the info I have.
=) Oreo was sweet. But she had a happy bunny life in a good home. As long as you provided that for your little furry friend, perhaps you can find comfort in that? That's how I feel about it.
my hamster did get a little lazy before his death. But his death was caused because he was getting a little old and one week before that he broke his leg climbing his cage :(.I didnt have a funeral because i found out he died when i came home from school, and my dad brought a new hamster home.i havent found a hamster yet that can replace stuart...*tear*
I'm sorry I didn't see this video earlier, I gathered from your comment on my video that she had passed. It's nice that you have all those lovely vids of her and can share the good memories. *hugs*
Must have been it's time. At least we know with you her life was a good one. You know how people say that "he/she/it's in a better place now"? It must be a really good place if it's better than your care... must be like Heaven. :)
First tiem i watched your videos. Ahw thats such a shame, but you tell the story so well. Your seem like such a happy lovely person. I think you should be on television. I do I do.
This will blow your mind. The rabbit I used to have but eventually gave to an old lady on a rabbit farm was named Oreo too :O Sorry about your bunny, but remember: All Bunnies Go to Heaven.
Oh, darling, so sorry for your loss. Oreo had a great forever home with you, and had the best loving care..her spirit will always be with you...((((Big Hugs)))) ---Mari xoxo
She did. I called the lady who gave her to me and she just thanked me for taking good care of her for all these years. I'm glad I have lots of pictures and videos of her :)
Sorry to hear that, Miss Lisa (Sorry if you don't like that, I call all people older than 21 that aren't related to me, Miss (Their name). Bad habit I picked up at Girl Scouts). I lost my dog recently so I kinda know how you feel. We got a new one though. But I still miss Mocha.
She was sweet. But it's OK. When I knew she was starting to suffer, I prayed that if she was going to suffer, for God to just take her. And when I checked on her again, she was gone.
She had a good bunny life, so I kinda feel like it's OK. And she didn't suffer long. I actually prayed that if she was going to suffer, that God would go ahead and take her. And when I checked her again, she was gone.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I have lost one cat we love dearly. He lasted almost 20 years, and I never remembered life without him. It was so very hard. You all are in my prayers.
That's a good long life for a hamster! I had hamsters in the past, but I prefer guinea pigs now. I always have to have a piggy! And it's OK. As long as they're taken care of, we can have good memories :0)
Sorry. It was John's 500 subscriber Stickam party. I just happened to run across his video about it, so I jumped over there. But I'll see you there tonight >:0)
Pets give us so much love even when we can't find it anywhere else. Sorry to hear abouy Oreo. I'm sure you gave her a loving and secure home. God bless.
A year? Wow. They must have not kept them in the right environment. I actually thought they were supposed to live for 10 years, but the vet said 8. And we don't really know how old she was.
I'm a guinea pig expert, but not bunnies. And there's really not a vet in this area who knows much about small animals. The one I go to is supposedly the expert, yet she found nothing. I just had the bunny there in December for tummy problems. Both times they just guessed. But I think it was about her time anyway.
i feel so sorry for you

The Rainbow Bridge is the mythical way to Asgard; where the Norse of long ago believed the warriors who died in battle went to Valhalla! :)
