  • Tom...you took Habitat down the pan...well done mate

  • designers are the root cause of ours problems though, ebay is for things we once bought and now want to replace. try recycling something that has become obsolete..slightly more difficult.

  • @dagz4

Good designers aspire to make things that last. Reflect on your own ego - wouldn't you prefer your work remains appreciated in the world forever?

I gotta wonder - do you know any designers?

Any designer who plans obsolesence into their products has likely yielded to the forces applied by accountants, lawyers and salesmen, or to the challenge of relevence in consumer fashion.

  • @miuzu2u I believe you have no understanding of my comment, as what you have said is nonsensical to the discussion i'm trying to provoke. Keep wondering...

  • @miuzu2u In fact, it is your comment and demonstration of naivety that proves my original point. You're not a designer and never will be if you believe what your fingers typed. Good Bye!

  • If you're in London you have to check the exhibition he's apart of at the London design museum. It has the eco-friendly engine that belongs to a 1949 Bentley Chassis on show. Well worth a visit and there's a ticket giveaway if you're interested.
