you can basically use this simple but very effective technique for deep-frying anything.. courgettes, aubergines, meatballs, chicken breast, doughnuts, even seafood.

I like the spoon technique, rather than chucking the cheese straight into the oil.

Inspirational after all.. i think I'm going to make myself a good portion of that: I'm starving!!
