This game looks amazing, and you did a terrific job with this little movie! It's almost like a whole new Cowboy Bebop movie!! I have a PS3, I wish this would come here in that format. I wonder though, if it was released in North America, would we be able to get both soundtracks? I can't bear listening to it dubbed and it was awesome hearing those familiar, beloved voices again.

Yeah, a lot of people probably don't know about this great game. It was supposed to come to the U.S. but it was canceled for some reason. The PS1 version is okay, but this one is much better.

@sokodei Thanks for uploading this. Since I don't speak Japanese myself, I had to sit through the cutscenes not having a clue what they were saying and anxious to get back into the game. Thankfully it is more enjoyable than Cowboy Bebop for the PS One. I'm glad my friend was able to get a copy of both games for me regardless. Now I'm right towards the end of the PS2 version.

for some reason i preferred the english voice actors. Spike really sounded like a lazy super hero and jett sounded like a tough guy. japanese sound oddly feminine

I honestly don't like this game. The plot is "power rangers" s**t. Graphics are bad. Animation is awkward. Music and characters are mindlessly taken from the original anime so it doesn't count. Better off watching the animated series and the movie (which rule!). I appreciate your fansub, though.

I really really hope they don't cast Keanu as Spike, I still don't think he looks anything like him, and his voice is simply terrible.

Even though i dont think much of keanu reeves as an actor, i actually think he may be good as spike spiegel. They do look sort of similar. Spike is basically devoid of any real emotions, similar to most of keanu's performances.

Plus keanu is apparently a big fan of the source material and understands the character, so it would be fair to assume he wouldnt be in it just for the money.

Better keanu than vince vaughn or one of the jonas bros though.

not all stuff. the menus are in English, except the save menu, but you can understand what to do.

in actual gameplay, the messages are in japanese, but I guarantee, you'll understand everything. I ended the game in one week.

@SymbioteIII Funny you should mention this. During a panel at an anime convention, Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn mentioned that the entire game was recorded by the english cast TO COMPLETION, and she has all of the recordings on her computer at home..but can't release them due to legal issues.

To think that time and money was spent domesticating this entire game, only for it to never see release..

Random tidbit: I still have my preorder receipt from Gamestop back in the day...

Because, even looking this good, the game is lame. I recently finished it. The graphics are damn fine, but the gameplay and flow of this point is really, really lame. I made a great effort when getting to the end of the game, because it is really hard to play it, and not due to the difficulty but to the lack of "catch". There is people who would say "It's a game for CB fans" well, I'm a really big fan of the Bebop crew and this game left me very dissapointed. Such an expensive waste...

I think it's wrong to edit the smoking out of things, like airbrushing the ciggarettes from Beatles covers. Apart from that, a good looking game, shame we never got it.

@sokodei Actually, Super Nintendo Power Rangers games were developed for Bandai by Natsume Co., Ltd. But, if Natsume did, in some way, help produce Cowboy Bebop for PS2, then sound effects might either have been recycled or just sound similar.
