I have ps3 and a psn accounnt, I've only played an X-Box once, and that was Left 4 Dead. Sony really f**ked up right here, so I can see why so many ps3 players and psn users would be pissed because they have to pay for online play. But look at the bright side, it's only for used games.
Fuck Sony. There is a point to buying used games, so we DON'T have to pay all the extra money to get it brand new. Now we pretty much have to pay it anyway just to play online? Yea 10 extra dollars for EVERY used game you buy. Xbox would be unlimited for a whole year. If you buy more than 6 used games for the Playstation then you would still be losing money since you would pay over 60 dollars.

Sony just wants part of the sell. They don't make money when you buy it used. When you buy it used you're buying it directly from whoever sold it to you such as GameStop or other media stores who sell used games. So Sony is adding this pass to make some kind of money off the game you bought. Which is ridiculously greedy...Shame on Sony.

The first game to use this is gonna be Resistance 3. Within the first month, maybe second too, people are gonna have to buy it new anyway and it comes with a free code. Game companies do not make any money on used games and potentianally lose money when people buy used games since they do not buy a used copy. Microsoft saw this way before Sony. And people who switch tfrom PS3 to Xbox, you are just being hypocritical because you still have to pay to play all your games online.

Even if I lend it to my friend I can't play it while he has it .For every copy of the game only one online fee needs to be paid . There is no extra cost to the company on their servers if I sell it used as there will still only be one person online max per copy of the game sold new. It is a money grab.

Xbox = 1 flat fee of $60 for one year (PERIOD). PSN You give it to your friend for the weekend. He can't play. You get a new console, you can't play until you pay 15 dollars per game. So think about it. You have 10 games. Your PS3 breaks. You get a new one. You have to pay 10-15 dollars per game to get all your games back online. That alone will cost you $150. Thumbs up if you agree it's time to get an Xbox.

I've played on the PS for 6 years straight now. And when I heard of this, a voice inside of me told me "GET A FUCKING XBOX" and I totally agree with that voice.
What Sony doesn't realize is that they are setting up Microsoft perfectly! Sony is going through all of this hacking and they are charging fees if you want to play a used game while Microsoft is sitting there smiling at all of the new XBOX users. Sony, you really need to think things through before going out and doing them.
sony is making a bad move, by doing this, they can lose up to 50-75% of their fans and later on, they can go bankurupt. Buying a used game and adding the $15 is technically buying a new game. I can guarantee that most ps3 users would switch to xbox

PSN Pass is only for 1st party titles not ALL games and not even every 1st party title will have it, EA, THQ, Warner Brothers, Ubisoft all have some form of a Online pass in the works. This is going to be the standard price ploy to recap from the Used game market. I dont think the $9.99USD is a fair price but it seems to be the industry standard out there. You dont like the idea of a Online pass? Dont buy it and see if we can take that from them...

@GOLDENxEYE yes but, there is only one of the game. When I sell it to game stop I can no longer play it . Who ever buys it is the only one who can play it . Even if I lend it to my friend I can't play it while he has it .For every copy of the game only one online fee needs to be paid . There is no extra cost to the company on their servers if I sell it used as there will still only be one person online max per copy of the game sold new. It is a money grab.

If this happens im definitively switching to xbox. It would not be worth wasting that much money considering I play a lot of new games all the time, Id rather pay for xbox life for one year and play 10 new games without having to pay 100$+ Id rather pay half of that. Sucks to be you sony.

As a hardcore PS user, I don't like this. Although, I buy most games that I want to keep new anyway, this has stopped me from selling some of my games which have EA pass or whatever. It was a good way to buy new games using cash from used ones... I guess those days are over!

Xbox = 1 flat fee of $60 for one year (PERIOD). PSN You give it to your friend for the weekend. He can't play. You get a new console, you can't play until you pay 15 dollars per game. So think about it. You have 10 games. Your PS3 breaks. You get a new one. You have to pay 10-15 dollars per game to get all your games back online. That alone will cost you $150. Thumbs up if you agree it's time to get an Xbox.

What Sony doesn't realize is that they are setting up Microsoft perfectly! sony is making a bad move, by doing this, they can lose up to 50-75% of their fans and later on, they can go bankurupt. Buying a used game and adding the $15 is technically buying a new game. I can guarantee that most ps3 users would switch to xbox

The used games are for parents who money is tight in their family to spend on it for their children to have a little fun in their life. Of course they work as well, but they cost less so parents can save money for other finacial purposes. so i think sony should cut this pass because this is just a stupid decision sony

PSN Pass is only for 1st party titles not ALL games and not even every 1st party title will have it, EA, THQ, Warner Brothers, Ubisoft all have some form of a Online pass in the works. This is going to be the standard price ploy to recap from the Used game market. I dont think the $9.99USD is a fair price but it seems to be the industry standard out there. You dont like the idea of a Online pass? Dont buy it and see if we can take that from them...

Sony said themeselves, when the psn launched that it would ALWAYS be free, now it seems like their not sticking to there word, i mean 20$ per game to play online!?
