The "Noooo!" in EP 6 Blu-Ray acctually worked well. Too much bitching - it acctually made it all more emotional, but people love bitch these days. In episode III, though, it did NOT work at all! xD
George Lucas has tried to make the phrase "NOOOOOOO" his to own and then sue if someone else uses it. Think about it, it was in Empire Strikes Back which it was perfect for. Then episode I with Kenobi's no, that was acted out well enough for me to accept it. Then episode 3 when Vader said it we were all like "what?" and then comes episode 6 re-released with vader's other "no" put into his killing the emperor which we were all like "...fuck you lucas." He's tried to make NOOO! a Star Wars thing.
@Rousalaine Naw..Ewan was actually really good. In episode 2 and 3 he acted just like actor of Ben Kenobi in the original trilogy. Natalie Portman was..okay. It was just Hayden Christensen (anakin)who was shitty. Anyway the Revenge of the Sith was really good. The Phantom Menace wasn't THAT bad. Attack of the Clones was the only one I really hate. As for the' noo', that was there throughout all the movies. I do love the originals more than the prequels but don't say the prequels shouldnt be made
It's pretty sad how in the original films the characters actually talk like mature people. When you watch the prequels, they all act like they are reading their lines off of an autocue. George Lucas made big time actors like Ewan Mcgregor and Natalie Portman act like they were auditioning for Sesame street, and in the end even made Darth Vader look like a childish theatric idiot with his laughable "Nooooooo!" scene. Star wars should have stayed in the 70's and 80's where it belonged.
@Booharv1 Just because it's been said before doesn't make it any less true. Infact, with the clonewars cartoons Star Wars really has sunk down to the childish level of Sesame Street.
@Rousalaine Don't forget Luke's NOOOOOOOOOOOO scene. That was pretty dumb. I think NOOOOOOOOOOOOO runs in the Skywalker family. And Kenobi's NOOOOOOOOOOOOO in Episode I.
@Rousalaine Lucas had a lot of help in the originals... he had too much control in the prequels. He was so busy financing and producing the original Star Wars, that the actors were allowed more creative freedom, and I'm sure Lucas had much more help with the screenplay, even in A New Hope. If you watch the documentary of the prequels he gives the actors very specific instruction and they follow what Lucas says to a T, with the exception of Ian McDiarmid, whom Lucas trusted to act independently.
@Rousalaine Harrison Ford actually admitted that he pretty much just said whatever he felt like instead of reading the script, I guess it really does help. =p
You Don't Believe In The Force, Do You? Oh You Mean That Thing You Just Found Out About Like Three Hours Ago And Are Now Judging Me For Not Believing In It?
Does anyone have the link they can message to me that has the Episode 3 featuring obi-wan as a voice-over telling this story? It was my favorite trailer.
Ya know, Luke was just learning this stuff when he was handed that light saber in the first clip, what if he made the simple mistake of holding it upside-down. Ouch! End of movie. Role credits. LOL.
Best Star Wars of them all, can't tell you how many time I have seen it. I was 15 when it came out. I just added a vid of my R2 here, " Steeljaws game room 2 " thanks for posting this,,,, best part of the movie... Jeff
Looks like George Lucas rated this video

Yeah, Darth Vader helped hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights.
I really wish that they had some actual scene of this, besides order 66 and cutting down jedi "younglings" in training.

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force

No matter how many times you see these scenes, you always admire Lucas' Space Fantasy/Space Opera...

Chris (Luke Skywalker): You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Peter (Han Solo): Oh, you mean the thing you just found out about three hours ago and are now judging *me* for not believing in?

@NightButterflyAmy So you're saying the prequels and that Clone Wars movie might not have been as good as the original trilogy?
