my wii works alright with pressign the buttons but doesent show the hadn and when i finally get the hand on it flashses and goes away :/ any solutions ?

Just open the door in the front of the wii turn ur wii remoteand their is a small buttonget a pencil or somin sharp and press it then press the red the red button in the door on the wii at the same time but only press it once then dO the button on th wiimote

my problem is wen i have fresh batteries and i turn it on it looks like its dead cause the lights are dull and wen it gets darker that means the batteries are gettin low wen it turns really dark but can still seeit , the cursor does not appear on the screen but the controller is on still so the cursor wont show wen the batteries are charge

they last for like 30 minutes wen the cursor comes of the screen

does any body know how to fix this

mine won't even turn on! i turn on my wii, and i press a button to turn it on, then the four lights at the bottom flash, and then the remote shuts off, it was working fine yesterday, could someone help?

Thats something wrong with the direction pad, one of them might be held

My situation is even worse! I can't even turn on the wii mote. It blinks and all but thats all. I tried to syncing it several times and unplugging my wii and reconnecting my wii and nothing changes. What do I do? Should I buy a new wii remote? I bought the classic remote to see if it helped... but it didn't... Idk what to do...? Someone please help me! =,( Is it my wii mote or my wii?

open it up where the batteries are and press the red button along where u put the SD card in on the wii (that red button too)

I was playing new super mario bros wii, i got SO FRUSTRATED I started banging my wii remote then i played it again and i realized i couldnt shake. i restarted my wii and it still DIDNT WORK!!

dont put the sensor bar by speakers, magnets or it'll wack out.

I had this exact problem too . to fix this you need to perform a wii system update , reconnect the remote via the sync buttons , reset the sensitivity settings to default . hope this helps .

i had the same prob. when playing mario kart i fixed that prob. by taking out the batteries, then when i started playing online one of my friends was hacking me he kept hiting me every second and my remote got spammed from vibration and the moition part of it cut off. know i can't play any games like mario and sonic at the olmpic games. does any one know where to or how to fix that.

i had the same thing basically either do one of 2 things 1 go to a game shop buy one then swap them over or 2 just press down the whole directional pad because it is stuck to the button underneath

i kept having the same problem with my nunchuk when like im not moving the control stick and i moves by itsself(in game lol, not irl) and soo i just dissconnected my nunchuck and blew into the connecer part and then put it back in then it worked fine maybe u can restart ur wii remote by just taking out the batteries and wait 1 minute then put batteries back in and voila!(i think...)

no, hold the wii remote like it normally is, and hit the top make sure you make the buttons go in. this restarts your sensor bar and makes it work. it also works if you hit your wii remote and it stops working. your welcome in advance,

Its the sensor bar or the sensor bar settings to see if its set to above TV because your sensor bar is above the TV and then got to sensitivity do the stuff.

yeah it seems to be your D-pad. in the main wii menu the Dpad isnt used, the IR pointer is, so that works fine, but in wii sports the menus can be used with the Dpad or the IR pointer.

also the fact that it stops switching sideways when you hold a direction on the Dpad leads to that same conclusion.

from the footage, it looks like your 'left' button is busted
