This episode was so sad. I think the only other episode that was equally as tearful was when Dr. Greene died. This show always did know how to tug on your heart strings.

it's odd, Lucy's death really affected Dr. Romano, he seems to genuinely sadden. i mean yea a death of a co-worker is devestating, but if you noticed her last few months before her death he kinda mentored her, she went to his house in the middle of the night on Christmas to beg him to help her cardiac patient, and he did help it.

The score in this scene... The heartbreaking way these two normally stoic doctors administer their post-mortem ministrations... It's so tender, so wrenching - this scene really shattered me when I first watched it, I'm glad it's retained that power over me. Really incredible stuff.

Lucy and Carter were my favourite characters on ER, i was really sad to see that Lucy died, but was glad that Carter survived, still whenever i see this episode, i still get a tear in my eye

The episode of the last of Lucy was the best thing. And it was the saddest episode. I wanted happy ending to become Mr. Carter. Two people were well-matched couples.

I really liked the scene but I hated that she decided to leave so soon. The character was nice and could develop. And it's also the producers fault to put 6 new actors in the show (counting with McCrane and Ming-Na). If they hadn't put Abby, Chen and Malucci right away, I think that Lucy would have had more screen time.
