Can I just make one comment, you should switch the machine on before you start pouring the custard. This will stop it freezing around the sides and ice crystals forming in the mixture. Other than that great video thank you!
I think the best would be to buy ice creams, beacause its a lot of job and ingrediants, so the cheapest idea: buy ice cream:) but anyway i like you!:****
@salz946 Yes. Just put it in the freezer for two hours, take out, and mix to prevent ice crystals from forming. Repeat at least three times & there you go :)
@rainpoolraiu Well You could Just use one, But it wouldn't come out the same. Vanilla Bean is hard to come by sometimes But It's not a Big deal not to have it.
I don't car how good that ice cream is.. id turn around for Angelina, give her my ice cream and watch her eat it. Watching her eat my ice cream tastes better than me eating it.
@kfl21 a cream thats heavy. Jk. Some people dont know the difference between milk half and half light cream and heavy cream. Each of witch however have different amounts of fat in them that allow you to do more things with them. For example if you mix heavy cream for a long period of time with a mixer you can sometimes make butter. You wouldnt be able to do that with milk though.
@yayitsbrenda Maybe you could look at another ice cream recipe that uses a blender to make it or a couple of plastic bags and ice cubes. Just check out around youtube 'ya know?
@MrCrusty529 Ha! Your figure sounds high, but I hear you. Think of it this way. People spend tons of money on clothing and cars deemed high quality. I say we spend a few extra bucks for awesome homemade ice cream. Thanks so much for watching the video. Your 5-gallon tub is on its way :) -Kirk

@randomshitairplane The apostrophe in sayin' symbolizes where the g would be. I was using it in the vernacular and I thought you'd get that, but oh well. @loneliesgurl I've never done it, but many of my viewers said they have and that it works well. Give it a try, but remember to put it in the freezer, not the refrigerator :) Good Luck. -Kirk
@maybeitsmimi I've had people tell me they've simply frozen the custard mixture and it's turned out well. I can't vouch for it, but you may want to give it a try. Hope that helps. -Kirk
@brackpersian Good to know, dude. For the record, you should have written, "You don't need so MANY egg yolks." The use of "much" in this situation is grammatically incorrect.
Not sure about the weight of the egg yolks as we really don't do that here in the states. Our eggs are classified as medium, large and extra-large or jumbo. The ones I used in the video were from large eggs. Next time I crack an egg I weigh the yolk and let you know :) -Kirk
