  • OMFG!!! CANt you just get to the ingredients??????

  • Can I just make one comment, you should switch the machine on before you start pouring the custard. This will stop it freezing around the sides and ice crystals forming in the mixture. Other than that great video thank you!

  • I think the best would be to buy ice creams, beacause its a lot of job and ingrediants, so the cheapest idea: buy ice cream:) but anyway i like you!:****

  • we will kill the heat xD

  • what a twat!

  • can i make this without a icecream maker?

  • @salz946 yes, pour in a long dish, freeze it, take it out and put it in a mixer until smooth, then freeze again

  • @salz946 Yes. Just put it in the freezer for two hours, take out, and mix to prevent ice crystals from forming. Repeat at least three times & there you go :)

  • if your scared that the custard will turn into scrambled eggs then leave the boil for 10 minutes then it won't scramble

  • Why you'll need both vanilla bean and extract? Can I use only one?

  • @rainpoolraiu Well You could Just use one, But it wouldn't come out the same. Vanilla Bean is hard to come by sometimes But It's not a Big deal not to have it.

  • To much trouble- There must be a faster way

  • @watch4david just buy the vanilla ice cream "powder" add milk and chill, it's going to be the cheapest way with less quality but good

  • I don't car how good that ice cream is.. id turn around for Angelina, give her my ice cream and watch her eat it. Watching her eat my ice cream tastes better than me eating it.

    FooL

  • @kfl21 a cream thats heavy. Jk. Some people dont know the difference between milk half and half light cream and heavy cream. Each of witch however have different amounts of fat in them that allow you to do more things with them. For example if you mix heavy cream for a long period of time with a mixer you can sometimes make butter. You wouldnt be able to do that with milk though.

  • In the beginning you knew good and well u were being video taped ;b

  • so it costs me 40 bucks to make ice cream ?

  • what tf is heavy cream?

  • Awesome IceCream

  • Kirk thats a pretty expensive bowl of ice cream about 8 bucks a pint ? Can you send me a 5 gallon tub ? ha ha loved the video !

  • @MrCrusty529 Ha! Your figure sounds high, but I hear you. Think of it this way. People spend tons of money on clothing and cars deemed high quality. I say we spend a few extra bucks for awesome homemade ice cream. Thanks so much for watching the video. Your 5-gallon tub is on its way :) -Kirk

  • Get rid of the shity begining

  • @randomshitairplane Hey there. I know you're only 13, but "shity" is spelled with two t's and "begining has two n's. Warmest regards. -Kirk

  • @Egcuisine it's what happen what I type FAST

yes, most kids my age don't type fast

  • @randomshitairplane 'it's" should be capitalized and "happen" should have an s. You also forgot two periods and the capitalization of "yes". Your work is getting really sloppy, young man. Better check yourself before you wreck yourself. Just sayin'.

  • @Egcuisine you don't have to type proper on comments

when i write essays of something like that, i do

But in comments, you really don't have to

why didn't you capitalized the "it's"

    just saying

and you spelled saying wrong to

  • shouden't it 74 likes and 0 dislikes?

  • does that taste like regular ice cream or a little bit harder?

  • @MsGrantula I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say, "a little bit harder." Can you please explain. -Kirk

  • can put the whole mixture into the refrigerator without the use of the ice cream maker?

  • @loneliesgurl I've never done it, but many of my viewers said they have and that it works well. Give it a try, but remember to put it in the freezer, not the refrigerator :) Good Luck. -Kirk

  • What if I don't have an ice cream maker?

  • @maybeitsmimi I've had people tell me they've simply frozen the custard mixture and it's turned out well. I can't vouch for it, but you may want to give it a try. Hope that helps. -Kirk

  • you dont need so much egg yolks dude.

  • @brackpersian Good to know, dude. For the record, you should have written, "You don't need so MANY egg yolks." The use of "much" in this situation is grammatically incorrect.

  • american humour in a nut shell .... shit!

  • @DrivenUpTheWall1 Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate you taking time out of your busy life to spread positive energy. Cheers. -Kirk

  • who said men cant do 2 things at one time

  • whos that ryan guy? he's dumb!

  • can you make this without the vanilla bean?

  • @jessnlo4100 Sure. Just increase the amount of vanilla extract you use.

  • Respond to this video... Thanks for the question. -Kirk

  • Hey! Thanks for that. So nice.

Not sure about the weight of the egg yolks as we really don't do that here in the states. Our eggs are classified as medium, large and extra-large or jumbo. The ones I used in the video were from large eggs. Next time I crack an egg I weigh the yolk and let you know :) -Kirk

  • @Egcuisine Alright thanks a lot, Also what vanilla bean are you using?

  • @aragorn123sg I believe it was a Madagascar vanilla bean, but any will do.

  • FINALLY!!!! Somebody who knows whats he's doing. Kudos to you my friend. Just curious how many grams does one of those beautiful yolks weight?

  • How much is a cup? I am in the UK and we don't have that measurment.

  • @spursfan112 1 cup = .24 liters. I hope that helps. -Kirk

  • @Egcuisine Cool, thanks

  • This video and a How To Make Perfect Pancakes video put me in a summer mood and then I look out the window and see 2 metre high snow... I WANT SUMMER+ICECREAM+PANCAKES!! :D

  • @LeopardsInJungle Here's a thought. Turn up your heater and don't look outside :) JK - Thanks for watching the video and remember that ice cream and pancakes can be eaten year round.

    Best,

  • is ths comedy act cn u get on wiv it

  • @alim20082009 I have no idea what you're asking. Please resend question, this time using the King's English. Thanks. -Kirk

  • i have that bowl

  • How do you do this without an ice cream maker? Thanks!

  • @tabletennisskills1 I've never done it without an ice cream maker, but I had one viewer say they simply made the custard, froze it in a container and it turned out good. I, personally, can't vouch for this method but it's worth a try. Here's a link to a site that shows how to make ice cream using two plastic bags, along with crushed ice and salt. Good luck and please let me know your results. -Kirk

  • @Egcuisine Thanks! And where is that link?

  • @tabletennisskills1 For some reason, YT won't let me post the link. Do a Google search for "Homemade Ice Cream maker" and you'll see a site called Science Toys. This should help.

  • @Egcuisine Thanks for your help and the ice cream was delicious! I just froze it in a container and it did work, though it is not as soft, creamy and smooth.
