Should have put an LS1 I hate opti spark ignition on LT1 but the overall motor has great potential and sometimes they even fill faster than LS1 cars but great car.
if i'm not mistaken the lt1 should bolt right up to the transmission.and the brain would need to be changed out otherthen that a few tweaks here and there and you should be good to go.i know someone will correct me if i wrong on that but i was in the same boat i had an 84 z51 with a dougnash 4 speed auto was a very nice car just needed more power.
Your Vette sounds awesome! Nice job getting the LT1 in there too :) I want to have a similar exhaust note in my 84, what kind of exhaust system do you have applied to your car?

as i can see; there is no mass air flow
sensor- it could could be a 93 lt1 engine.
the sound can be no other than magnaflow...
go for flowmaster- you can hear each cylinder
firing- not that constant humm. dont pipe
out flowmasters sound cool loud!

How hard was it to convert to the LT1? I have an 84 crossfire and am wanting to put a LT1 in it. What all did you have to change?
