The Ancient Egyptians were black ..SEE MY UPLOADS for pictorial evidence that mainstream sources wont show you.
You will see things like the mummy of Thutmoses the 1st, with coarse wooly hair in a 1930s published book by renowned Egyptologist of the day, Sir W M Flinders Petrie. He is now bald (sources given)
Or the coal black grandmother (always in art) of the famous Queen Hatshepsut
She was a woman living in a man's world, doing a man's job. And she was doing it in a society where you had to be born of a God to take on the role that she had taken on. I think that in your attempts to sound intelligent, you guys are focusing on the least remarkable thing about an extremely remarkable woman.
sometimes Hatshepsut is interesting, because it documents the role of women with contradictions to rightful heirs and matrilineal marriages/polygamy also. Her role may have made her look gay though.
it turns out that there was a genuine reason why two (2) mummies were in the same tomb ! Hatshepsut, queen AND Sit-ra, royal nurse of Hatshepsut
a LESBIAN royal affair ! just bear this information in mind:the queen behaved as a man, acted as a male pharao and on top of it put a false beard on it in life and...also as a mummy a false beard was added upon her face by a mask
Queen Hatshepsut was found along with her family . Her grandmother wore tight braids or dreadlocks. She and her people were people of color.
