  • @AwesomeZeldaGamer im just saying that history makes it different (nigger/cracker thing)

  • @AwesomeZeldaGamer you can't really compare the two since white people brought africans on slave ships and tortured them and did horrible things to them for hundreds of years, not the other way around. But don't get me wrong, I think that Michael just made a mistake and he apologized so people should get over it.

  • @TheoneandonlyGTA Oh yeah?

Well how many of those people who were tortured were in the audience that day? yeah that's what I thought, NONE. Get over it. If a black comedian can say things like "Honky cracker" then a white comedian can say "dirty nigger" and be fine too.

  • @Archedgar well what I was trying to say was that the word "nigger" was tied to all that shit, so whenever it is used it brings up that horribly racist mentality of the past

  • @TheoneandonlyGTA It's the same thing.

Black comedians are racists, that means white comedians can be racist too. Chris Rock says honky cracker all the time.

  • @Archedgar And the word "cracker" is tied to what horrible events in the past?

  • @TheoneandonlyGTA Is this the past? I thought we lived in the present.

    Racial slurs = racial slurs.

  • @Archedgar The past doesn't just go away. People know that "nigger" was a label for black people from whites in a time when blacks were viewed as an inferior race, as barbaric and uncivilized, and as people who deserved to be enslaved. So when a caucasian american calls an african american "nigger," it appears as though he is looking down at him in the same way that his ancestors did (or may have), even if he meant it as a joke.

  • @TheoneandonlyGTA There is no "joke" when it comes to racial slurs.

That's why blacks should not use racial slurs, just like others shouldn't either. This is exactly why when a black comedian says cracker it should not be accepted.

  • @Archedgar I'm not arguing with that.

  • @TheoneandonlyGTA Then you concede and are defeated.

    gg.

  • @Archedgar You changed the argument. I think you're the one who conceded.

  • @Archedgar He most likely used the "N"-word against the hecklers because the "N"-word is used by many afro-American comedians. He wounds like he's mocking the actual use of the word. Yes it was wrong, embarrassing and maybe insulting although I doubt the hecklers were insulted. This is one single moment. Get over it. He did it in a way it could not be missed by anyone which makes it almost masochistic.

  • Would people stop talking about the club incident in every Richards video! We get it, he made a mistake, now can we please go back to watching what we came for, Seinfeld extras!

  • for a TV show that stunt was pretty crazy, being put into a bag that has weights and thrown into water?

    jeeze

  • He was being harassed by some idiots in the audience, so he ripped em open, case closed.

  • @Banminator exactly. kecklers shouldn't be defended.

  • Everyone who knows him knows he's a good guy who just screwed up and made a mistake. He has paid for it because living with what he did was punishment enough for him since he has a conscience and will live with the embarassment for the rest of his life. I believe he genuinely feels bad about it, his apology was sinscere and now he deserves to move on with his life and be happy. I wish him nothing but the best.

  • I really hate how people judge him on that one incident. He is one of the most under rated actors/comedians!

  • MICHAEL RICHARDS!!!

  • He was actually dumped into the Hudson River in the epirsode.

  • michael you are fantastic

ill always be a fan of you

  • They were asking for it, damn hecklers. You provoke someone and then you cry when they retaliate and hurt you?

  • @einyr

People made too much of that stupid scene at the club. Michael went too far but that one screw up does not define the man in any way. And those idiots that he called out were making racist comments right back at him anyway. So who cares ya know??

  • @dbreiden83080 well said, thet were harrising him and yes he lost it but they were both in the wrong and it was blown out of proportion

  • all of these Extras are gems

  • FORGIVE AND FORGET

  • Will you get over the dam thing he did a mistake. MAY i remind you that NONE of us are perfect and @ some time ALL of us DID think of racist remarks .come on be honest just because he did it on stage doesnt make us any better then him WI all did something bad @ 1 point in OUR lifes give the guy a break will ya? he is a great actor i i would like to give the guy a (second) chance so YOU poeple out there STOP pointing fingers DSTART pointing @ yurself FIRST like im doing to me.

  • @devinci2009 " @ some time ALL of us DID think of racist remarks" yeah racist people think racist remarks please don't include me in your sweeping generalisations.

  • @devinci2009 people are just way too paranoid about racism. You don't have to like everybody. His standup isn't my cup of tea but Michael Richards is phenomenal actor. He gave so much spice to the sitcom. Would love to see him back in a show.

  • Say what you want about him. Say he is a racist. (Although I don't believe he's a rasict)Whatever. He was so dedicated to to his acting, and the Kramer character, its inspiring. He needs more work, although it'll never happen now.

  • watch the 2009 season of CURB and you'll accept the Michael Richards of now and today, and let the past be behind us... He takes what happened seriously, but also knows how to laugh at himself.

  • Oh my god, I love him so much ♥♥

  • i admire Michael Richards's dedication in his great physical style of comedy

  • @Aivopieru Genius
