  • no offence but i dont care about your comment

  • No offense but I really don't care wat u and your friends will be doing

  • My personal opinion is that, if I ran into you on the street and we started chatting, I probably wouldn't be able to tell you weren't American. XD there were a few rough spots, mainly it seems with the pronunciation of short 'o's like in "shock" and "hospital". Other than that, just keep it super-informal and you'll probably be set! :D

  • Good job!

  • Pretty convincing actually!

  • amazing good job! and you don't really have to speak faster to blend in you do just fine haha but your accent is the best i think

  • you do a very good job, your accents peeks in a little bit every now and then..but you sound really good! :)

  • Rather than saying "quite" say "wicked" it's very common when describing a lot of something among people speaking American accents. Also, while casually speaking refrain from using the word "shall." I don't know very many friends who use that word in context while we're having a conversation :P But that's about it. Really good job!

  • Wow, if we met I wouldn't know you came from London, England. I also like the song " London Calling" from The Clash, and Should I stay or should I go. I still like your English accent. I love people with accents especially women. Doesn't matter what country either. You take care.

  • I have a few Ukrainian friends who have lived in my neck of the woods for a while- and you sound like them. Your non-rhotal (r dropping) tendencies come through a little. Otherwise- quite good.

  • what accent were you talking in at the beginning? English? it sounds almost completely American to me... i'm from Ohio

  • AWESOME!! try some hardcore Canadian ;)

  • Wow, can't even tell you're a Brit.

  • seriously you do an EXCELLENT american accent. its kinda true when you speak faster and don't lag on the words it makes it sound more genuine. good job keep it up!!

  • holy shit Y>Y

  • This is definitely the least offending video of an attempt at the American accent I've seen.

THANK YOU, for not talking like you're southern, or from the Bronx, or like a fucking blonde.

Cause I've never met anyone you actually says "Like OMG" and "Totally" in every sentence.

If I did, I would probably punch a baby.

    ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou<3

  • Its good, its just some words you say words that americans dont..like intervine..americans are dumb lol we dont use those words. But it was really good though.

  • i think its prettygood

  • aboolance

  • sometimes, your accent sounds "New England"-like, but a couple of time your accent slips (ambulance, concert)

    Holiday=Vacation

  • It sounds accurate but you sound like you are 80 years old....

  • Why do we need to speak in an american accent if we aren't american? It's not like it's a different language...we can still understand each other.... lol

  • You're the best at this. I'm Canadian and love this, it's spot-on :D

  • I wanna deep-dick a British chick with my large Mexican cock!!

  • Very good. But you cant really pronouce floor well. but good job with the other words

  • I can tell you don't really have an American accent. Haha. No offense. =)

  • is that story made up? Pretty good:)

  • i noticed, we use more slang and compound words, less proper words and sentences.

  • the most understandable accent in english is the american just like the most understandable accent in spanish is the mexican or colombian

  • @davlor86

nooo Mexican spanish is so hard to understand compared to central american spanish and colombian. lol

    (that's what I think)

  • @byroniscool16 hell no, actually many south americans prefer to see movies translated in mexican spanish than in spanish (from Spain) no kidding about that. Ask any south american this and you'll see..

  • @davlor86 What about colombian spanish? lol Well i think it all depends from where you are.

  • @byroniscool16 yeah, colombian spanish is also pretty easy to understand because it's more like the "mexican spanish"

  • The main problem is actually your vocabulary. You're using British speech patterns and that's a dead giveaway. If you spoke that way in the US we would think either you were from England or you were into dragons and Magic the Gathering. O_o

I recommend you take your studies to the next level and apprentice under Christian Bale, the master of all accents.

  • we really pronounce our R's so be careful of that so you don't dropp them!

  • Funny - you sound just like Joely Richardson when she does nip/tuck :)

  • "american" sounds british lol just thought that was kind of ironic

You are really good! i'm american and i don't think i could tell if i didn't already know

  • I heard a couple points where you slippt up, but you did good otherwise

  • are these stories true??!! and yes your accent is very good..its weird calling it an accent though because im from new york. but its funny cause it seems so much easier for a british person to speak english then vise vera(:

  • After watching and comparing this with another of your videos, you are actually pretty good. I'm from Colorado (which if you don't know is about as close to the center of the US as you can get). With a couple of slip ups ("message" and "concert") I could hear a little British English, but for the most part you sound just about right. Definately better than I could do if I tried to do a British one. hahaha

  • @JACCO20082012 thank you :)

  • Well eone. No regional accents, so over here we woould have no idea where you are from.

  • You're doing pretty well with your accent there.

By the way, what's the opening song called?

  • Bob Dylan- All along the watchtower.. @Celshye

  • I reloaded this video from back in the day...

Enjoy. I will update a new video soon..

May31st is last day for "Questions for Sezzera" x

  • When you say "ambulance" you say it like "am-buh-lence" whereas most Americans say it weirdly like "am-byoo-lants"

  • You clip the end of your words a bit. Work on your "o" and "i" vowel sounds. Especially "o" sounds.

  • Here's a very minor point. It's not pronunciation, it's vocabulary. An American wouldn't say "The girl cutting my hair called Amy.." Just say "named Amy" or "whose name was Amy".

I know it's very minor and it's hard to remember those things, but I thought it was something you might want to know. Other than, your accent was quite good. Only a few slips. :)

  • you sound canadian to me even though its hard to tell the difference b/w american and canadian when youre from england

  • London. :)

  • It's really just something that happens to pretty much everybody. When someone's under stress, either because they're trying to talk fast, shouting, exhausted or whatever, their natural accent often tends to poke through.

  • if you just are looking for an american sounding voice you may end up saying one word with a boston accent and the next with a californian then the next with a new york accent then the next with a midwest and maybe even some minnesota tossed in dont ya know.

  • i agree with russ.

if i was told to guess the accent, i would have said you were a german that lived in the states since you were a kid. try talking faster after you perfected the accent you are looking for. you still havnt said what particular one you were going for.

  • Hmm... I think it worked better when you talked more slowly. I noticed a few dropped 'r's and 'h's in there, along with some other distinctly British shortenings of words. There are plenty of Americans who speak much slower than that, and slowing it down will give you more time to think about pronunciation and word choices. It doesn't need to be ridiculously slow--just back to the speed you were talking at before.
