Im having problems burning my videos that ive recorded with this camera on a dvd. why!?!? i put them onto my dvd burner program and the program just shuts off in the middle of burning E.V.E.R.Y.T.I.M.E. but if i burn things that didnt come from this camera, it works. weird thing is that ive bured these sanyo files before with the same problem. WHY!?!?!?

I currently use 2 Panasonic still cameras (TZ1 and DMC-Z51 which has a 25mm wide angle view) I also have a Kodak Z16 and a Canon ZR85. My latest camera is a Canon SD790is which has lots of nice bells and whistles. My favorite feature is the ability to shoot time lapse in 1fps and 2fps. I was looking for a video camera for time lapse and hd. the CG10 does time lapse. Can you tell me at what frame rate(s) and how wide a view is the wide angle end of the zoom?

@countryboy8527, I use "Camtasia Studio" It handles 720p HD and uploadds to youtube in HD. Camtasia offers a trial period. So try it out, you'll like it.

This camera is definitely good for the price and its not to bad at filming moving objects. I have uploaded some dirt jumping footage under if you want to see what the quality is like. The only problem I have is the audio wont appear in sony vegas 6.0. I think I might be missing a codec as it works on a different computer and on my uni's computers in premier.

Great overview dude, really like the quality of the test footage :) I know your an american but does the camera have different refresh rates, 50/60hz? Im in the UK and im loking to get one of these cameras but can't find out if it has a 60hz option, i make a lot of gameplay vids on youtube and i have a few american consoles so i need the 60hz to capture the footage properly :)

the test footage at the end DOESNT SAY SHIT. you have to film without a tripod with the cam in your hands to see if the image stabilisation works or not.

furthermore u have to show how the cam films moving objects

You can do 30fps in HD (720p) mode and standard (480p) mode as well as a 60fps in the standard (480p) mode.

Dudes,forget this thing,if you want an HD camera get the Sony DSC-W270.

It's not camcoder but is recording videos in 720p with stereo sound and the quality is a million times better.

Trust me... It worth the 20 bucks more plus you're getting a pretty nice compact camera.

The likely culprit is a underpowered processor, too little ram, or poor video card. Look at those issues, talk to an IT professional about it.

I was wondering the same thing... the CG10 and the VPC-CG10 are the same camera. The VPC-CG10 is just the entire product model. It's just CG10 for short. Hope that helps!
