Brimstone, Flarestar, and El Nino are not mythological disasters, though. Water is pretty well covered since "Cataclysm" means "great deluge". And What I really need is a disaster for earth. "Gaiarupt" does not really exist in mythology, but it does come from etymologic construction meaning "Earth break". Do you know a mythological earth disaster I can use?

PS: Most Golden Sun Summons come from Greek, Roman, and Mid Eastern mythology. So I want to keep this motif.

Sounds plausible. But every character has to have a reason to do something, and I could not think of a reason Alex would have. Instead of basing the idea of the plot around Alex I based it really on Sheba since her past is such a mystery. "Falling out of the sky" Come'on. Besides, Mia knows Alex cuz they were both from that hometown. Alex needs a hells of a good reason to destroy his hometown.
