  • I cought the last segment of this movie on TV the other day. The Cannon Fodder part. While I thought it was interesting, it wasn't much of a story and at times kind of boring. It wasn't really my thing. I'd like to watch the other two parts of this just to check them out, but I wouldn't buy this...

    Anyway great review!

  • Stink bomb's original title "Sai-Syu-heiki" means most stinky weapon, spoofing "Saishu-heiki" ultimate weapon.

    This clue is a must to rate this episode adequately.

  • Great review. I actually still have my VHS copy I bought way back in eighth grade.

  • I do agree that acknowledgement by the main character that he was the cause would have made it more enjoyable but it could have just made it longer, feature flim length like Roujin Z (this and Stick Bomb share a scritp writer) that is another one of those catch or stop this crazy "thing" anime movie which ran for 80 minutes too long for my taste. I guess thats why the 30 minutes didn't bother me. Also since you brought it up Kei & Yuri, any chance of us getting a Dirty Pair Project Eden reveiw?

  • This is my first disagreeing with you because I really liked Stink Bomb, it's my favorite segment of "MEMORIES" (for all the reasons you mentioned) but I guess it's because I kept telling myself that all the people were just knocked out from the horrid odor and not actually being killed by it. Viewing it that way makes it a lot funnier I think, gosh now I kind of feel bad for showing to my family even though they enjoyed it. Still a great review.

  • As always you are dead on. Excellent review! And I would love to see pictures of you dvd/laserdisc collection. It has to be pretty amazing.

  • I'm sorry; Laserdiscs are awesome, but the sheer size of it when you're putting it in the player is just hilarious....^_^

    Why are the Javelina Mountains forbidden? Are they part of an Indian Reservation?

  • The western Javalina Mts. and all of the Sand Tank Mts are in the US Air Force's Barry Goldwater Test Range.

  • Wow, yeah, that''s the first time I've seen a laserdisc in nearly ten years.

  • Whoa! On Laserdisc!! o.O;;
