OMG!! The last time I took AA 10 years ago my flight to JA was delayed for 1 hr because of a broken plane seat ...LOL...I have been taking Air Jamaica since. That was a real MIRACLE!

It simply shows that the plane did not touch down where it should have...several other flight came in safely under the same condition... Virgin Airlines which operates 747 landed earlier with no problem..Air Jamaica landed two flights earlier with larger airbuses ...the Americans will try to look at every aspects as trying to place the blame elsewhere...offshore lights were not working.....runway not long enough....runway in bad condition...we are just grateful its not worst..
