@Dangerousefck99 What inspired me to dance like this was Bruce Dickinson dancing like I do in my "Older Russian dance" videos. He danced like this during the song "The Clansman" during their Rock In Rio concert in 2001. I started imitating him, but it didn't look very cool, so I just decided to dance like I now do. My first attempt at this dance is in my "First try of actual Russian dance" video. After that, it was a lot of practice. If you're interested in learning, I've made tutorials. =)
@evolusean That would definitely hurt their shins, but I'm afraid that being in this position would offer plenty of opportunities for someone to run circles around me or tip me over. It wouldn't be very smart to fight like this.
@THE1PAINOF1THE1GAME I'm sure that my tutorials can help you. But if you have additional questions, leave them in the comments, and I will be happy to answer them. Good luck! =)
@scoutmachinima Yes. XD I'm not Russian, and I don't speak or read it either, so Google Translate is really helpful when people post comments in Russian. XD
awesome! I like it! it seems more fat burning than my average cardio exercises. Would have tutorial videos on this?? congratulations!! keep them coming :) thanks
I'm not sure about the fat-burning properties of this dance, as I was never fat to begin with, so I can't really tell.
I don't have tutorial videos yet, but I plan on making some eventually. If you want to learn, please send me a Personal Message with questions you have about this dance, and I'll gladly give you some tips! Thanks again for the comment! ^_^
@ChernobylCorp Thank you! Yes, it's a lot of practice. But dancing with the steel plated boots actually makes it easier because of the momentum they provide to the feet. Thanks for the comment! =D
@lethalsub I've started dancing in 2008, but I wasn't constantly practicing. I started dancing like this with my steel plated boots in September or October 2009, but I've practiced on and off until the summer of that year. Dancing with my steel plated boots is fun, so I thought it would make a nice video.
@RawrNinjaBurgers I'm glad you like it! ^^ Would you like to learn? I hope I get to teach everyone, so we have an army of people doing the Russian dance. Haha!
1) DEAR GOD YOU MUST HAVE STRONG LEGS! 2) This kinda blows my mind, because I'm trying to figure out where's your center of balance. From what I can see you should be flat on your ass, yet obviously you're not. More mentally stimulating than that hack David Blane.
@wooki33man Thank you for the kind comment! Yes, I suppose my legs are strong. ^^ Sorry to disappoint you, though. I don't put a whole lot of thought into it when I dance. I just do what I can to not lose balance. XD
I've never heard about David Blaine before. I love magic tricks, but after watching one video of his, I couldn't stand it. If you would like to learn how to dance like I do, let me know! =D
@CookieClansman Yea, Blaine is a prick, and his "magic" is a joke--and a bad one at that. You might call him a фальшивый. But I digress; unfortunately I don't have the physique to preform this kind of dance, but I am working to correct that. I'll hold you to that offer later down the road. Keep up the fancy footwork!

That's actually not that hard to do.... well, not for me at least... i am athletic, but i am also from the country of Georgia. I guess it just and Eastern European thing XD.

Thanks for your input! =)

@CookieClansman no problem, i found that out from azuritereactions typing of the dead videos where he mentioned it. go check him out.
TheJustinmclingberg 3 months ago
@TheJustinmclingberg actually that is not exactly "cossack dance". that`s just old russian men dance.

Can you tell me how did you start training that? Or did you just started to dance and became better and better? Feels so impossible.

@Zanislav100 I don't own this world, and I never thought that I did. What put you under that impression?
I'm going to assume that my video bores you. Why? Is it the lack of music? Do you want me to put your music in my videos?

The most incredible thing at this kind of dance is not the dance itself, but doing it in boots! Whoever used boots know that it's not simple.

I think the opposite is also true; the Cossack dance helps making you fit, and it makes your limbs strong.
