  • I just read all the bashing, I am so sorry Anthony, not all Pakistanis think like that. Hey Hunza people, leave him alone, he is doing all in good intentions, and just trying his best to help people out. Don't misrepresent our country, please.

  • awesome! im gonna make this today! thanks and much love

  • Yummmm! Cant wait to try this! Thanks for all the wild greens videos too. Very cool.

  • Sounds like a great recipe Anthony.

I didn't realize that Pakistanis and Indians do not take kindly to being mistaken for each other until I started studying a bit about Pakistan. Live and learn :)

It would be nice to know if regular raisins are Ok .

  • I know, right?! Very defensive. I wouldnt get all that pissed if someone thought people from MN were canadian or something. I say we all shed our national identity anyways! Down with nationalism!

Regular raisins are just fine...enjoy :)

  • Hey BTW where do you buy your hemp seeds, and all that from? I can't find them at any of the local health food stores. I was thinking Matt Monarch's and Angela Stokes site had pretty decent prices.

  • I would only order them directly from the manufacturer, because hempseeds are SO fragile and go rancid so fast.

There is a link on my site to my favorite, manitoba harvest. Their prices are really good, and I order about 10lbs to save money. Just pop it in the freezer and youre good to go.

Any other place has to store the hemp, and i highly doubt they store it in the freezer. Order direct and get the good stuff!

  • Well drats I just ordered 30 pounds from Rawfoodworld. I'll try the manitoba site next time. Thanks.

  • @PenelopeRose238

There is a long history behind all that reaction and thinking so I can't explain in two sentences. They have always been at war and things never get settled between them. Ah, long story, but I don't mind it. people call me mexican, persian, indian etc etc, afterall its just all different branches of the same tree.

  • I m from Hunza. HUNZA is not in INDIA. its in PAKISTAN in North side. i don;t want to be offensive. we don't like to call our self Indian cause we are NOT..Thanks

  • Raisins + Pumpkin Seeds + Hemp Seeds = Health

  • Thanks for sharing this recipe! I will try it with my kids!

  • Woudln't it be less sticky to put the seeds in the foodprocessor BEFORE the raisins?

Anyways, I'm gonna try this recipee later today I think. Unless it's really important to have Hunza-raisins that is.

  • I was talking about the people on this blog..since some are not in a good mood. Detox is the answer.

  • these people are eating too much garbage..the mind is not detoxed. I realized that detoxing on a daily basis will improve your mood. I am on the Hunza Diet and I mix it with the Macrobiotic diet. I am on a mostly raw diet..but not totally. I don't use oil. Everyone is into their thing. This is a fantastic recipe. I can't wait to make it. This guy is gorgeous and has great recipes. He is an inspiration to all the unhealthy people out there.

  • Great recipies Rawmodel.

I've been Raw Vegan 5 weeks now.

Looking foward to seeing more of your great recipies!

  • Rawmodel, the difference between you and the ones on this board casuing trouble is very obvious. You exude peace and vibrancy; they are hostile and angry. Your raw diet is exemplified through your gentleness. You're a diffuser. If everyone ate like this the world would be more peaceful. Just wanted to say that you are amazing and I would love to meet you one day. You are very intelligent (I love your blogs!) and overall, the epitome of what a human being these days should constitute of.

  • Fukcing hell, Hunza is NOT in India. its no wonder you make a living modeling sweetheart because your basic knowledge seems to be lacking. I am from Hunza so pls fix your mishap and stop offending us.

and stop trying to westernise- our recipes/ingridents!

  • wow...you have issues. I said Pakistan too to help people with the location. Get a life and take it easy. You would think someone from Hunza would be a little more chilled out.

  • Comment removed

  • How rude of you say say that!! This guy did not HAVE to put up a video on youtube for us...he did it coz he wants to share one of his recipes so we can all enjoy...Any inaccuracy is obviously not intensional...I am surprised by your malice...you are making Hunzas look bad! TAKE A CHILL PILL!

  • Sweetheart its no wonder you make a living as a model because you cant even show enough respect for the recipes you use from areas to actually know which country they are in. Hunza is in Pakistan, closer to China than India. I am from Hunza so dont be pissing off more people will you!!!!

  • OK, so he's misinformed, but does it have to get personal? People make mistakes all the time, so don't let it piss you off.

  • Thanks Catfish..Im really surprised by the hostility by the Hunzas...ouch!

  • Listen darling, there is no hostility at all.. its just a matter of representation. Is it alright to call an American, Canadian? NO! and yes you did say Pakistan, but you also said India...

  • since your a chef- another thing you should know about Hunza is, people from Hunza live the longest and healthiest lives because of our Diet. so surely to use our ingredients and than to get our geographical location wrong doesn't sit well with us Hunzai's at all.

regardless, good luck with our 'peace food'

  • We are very far from India, if you know the Political status of the area and inner dynamics, you would know that the people of Hunza have gone through alot to have some sort of national representation.

So instead of wooing these women, leading them to say stupid things like your food is about peace! haha.. im sorry thats pretty funny! you should just get your facts right..

  • Listen darling, there is no hostility at all.. its just a matter of representation. Is it alright to call an American, Canadian? NO! and yes you did say Pakistan, but you also said India...

  • Yeah...I said Pakistan. What is your problem. I think you have some anger issues. Go back to Hunza and re-mineralize maybe?

  • Wow Anthony... looks fab! I'm all sorts of hungry now... and it's like 2am... : )

    Nice work my friend!

  • i am from hunza and i have not seen the stuff you mentioned ,another thing is HUNZA VALLEY is not in india , hunza is in northren areas of pakistan near to boarder of GREAT china.

  • yes dear ur right this person is wrong coz Hunza is located in NAs Pakistan i agree with .which desh is he making I never ever seen In OUr Hunza regon

  • I have a feeling they say these things are from these exotic places so that more people will buy them. It's like, "they're equally as healthy from anywhere else, you don't have to lie about where they're from!!!" ... or DO they? Hmm....

  • WHAT? They said "Imported from Hunza" on the package. Why would I lie. People have issues...

  • I'm not saying that YOU are lying, I just think that the people who package a lot of these items might be STRETCHING the truth a bit just to get people interested in their products, that's all.

  • fair enough...sorry to get so defensive. I just saw all the hard comments on this video and it was a little overwhelming. Its all good. I understand what you mean too.

    Be well, thanks for contributing.

  • No problem. I think you're really cute, and I love your videos. :-) Haha, it's kinda weird having a fatty like me commenting on your videos, but I do eat healthy, and love to find raw recipes. Maybe if I convert COMPLETELY to raw, my weight problem will subside. Until then, I will slowly convert. I will continue enjoying your videos. Thank you for the entertainment! ;-)

  • Jeez...I said Pakistan too...just helping people with the overall area that arent familiar. Take it easy. And yeah..just the raisins are from Hunza. Not the seeds.

  • that looks really good. and you are sexy!

  • mmm I might try this with a few dates and goji berries tossed in with the raisins.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I just made some but with dried apricot (I had no raisins in the house) - yummylicious!

  • Very interesting. I wonder how she thought of this?

  • Sweet!
