Around this time he used a tele into a cranked vintage ampeg gemini amp, while using a vintage maestro MFZ-1 fuzz pedal. At home I use a tele into my 60s silvertone1482 amp with a boutique maestro mfz-1 clone and get it pretty much spot on. a tele and fuzz through my brother's little tweed fender pro junior amp also gets some of auerbach's tones spot on as well.

The Black Keys are awesome, the White Stripes are not. Meg White cannot drum, Patrick Carney is infinitely better. Jack White is okay, but he's much better in The Raconteurs. The choice between him and Dan is basically just personal preference, I think Dan is better.
