if you pause the video really quickly you can see that when the timer was on 00:00.3 when you started and you pressed the stop button at 3.3 but it didn't react so you pressed again so it became 3.7 so your real time was: 3.0 seconds, good job sir!

Actually, the alphabet we use today is an offshoot of a variant of the greek alphabet. It was spread by Rome during it's conquests and later on preserved through religious texts. To call it the "English" alphabet merely denotes what part of the world uses these particular characters. As my German compatriots have pointed out, the German alphabet has 4 extra characters.

So again, there is a difference between the english and the german alphabet - and there are many more versions throughout the world, differing even more.
