  • Is this coming out soon or is it on hold?

  • The guitar right after the intro should be G OY RB

  • So um... How close are we to have this in game?

  • haha, awesome. now do emily sagee's secret!

  • Has this been released yet?

  • Because I [r]()Am T[]he E[[]g]ggman...

  • Are they playing Chapman Sticks or Warr Guitars or something? This will be one of the few songs in RB where there are more HOPOs in real life than in the game! It sounds like Gordian Knot meets Behold The Arctopus. Pretty awesome stuff.

  • @Azagthoth32 Just a guitar.

  • Also, the title is incomplete. The full title is:

I Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Am S/H(im)e[r] As You Are Me And We Am I And I Are All Our Together: Our Collective Consciousness’ Psychogenic Fugue

Or, at least, it's listed like that on their website.

  • @dahgrow

Err, as it is in the video description...I guess it's right in the video.

  • @dahgrow It's as right as we can get it. The game only handles 99 characters for a song title; the full thing is too long.

  • Very excited to see this. I made a post for this band on the requests forum of RB. So awesome.

And yes, it is vitally important that the time signatures be programmed for; I can see parts where it looks off because of this.

  • @dahgrow Yea, we're seeing what we can do to improve that. As I've mentioned elsewhere, x/8 signatures are kinda iffy to work with, everything about Rock Band seems based in quarter-note signatures.

  • So that thing at 1:50 on drums; I'm fairly sure that's completely inaccurate. Overall, the guitar and drum charts need a LOT more polish.

  • @Thom2509

Absolutely. It's in 7/8 or something like that. One TWO three FOUR five SIX SEVEN...hopefully that will be revised before release.

  • - the main 5/8 riff, after 5 measures, has another ghost note appear before where Yellow is for another 5 measures

    - on that same riff, using green twice for two different tones just feels weird. I think you have enough room to start the riff on Red, and can fiddle with the ghost note placements after.

    - the 0:38 bit should be GRYRBRBRY-, in other words anchored to red and without that extra end note.

    - the speech has swells and other ambiance that I would want to play and not just sit around.

  • ew

  • I am pretty sure the main riff is charted wrong. Shouldn't it be B-R instead of R-B? or something.

  • fukin awesome,great band,great track,and nice to see math rock,and in particular Giraffes?Giraffes! recognised

  • 6:10 sounds like a few more toms than are charted.

  • I am very intrigued.

  • Way overtiered on Guitar and Bass

  • YES. Ahhhh, never thought I'd see a true full-blown mathrock band come to rock band, and of all the songs that could have been ported, its one of my favorites! I, am happy with this.

  • the audience did an impressive job of clapping in time

  • I wouldn't have the audience clap to the 5/8 time signature. It's a little awkward.

  • @ATalkingFish The audience will clap along with whatever they want to clap along with.

  • @ATalkingFish Too bad it's in 3/4 at 2:40 and not hard at all to clap along with.

  • @SHAuriscope They can clap to that, I was talking about the very beginning that's in 5/4 or 5/8. Authors can choose when the audience claps.

  • @SHAuriscope and at 2:40, if they were to be clapping, they'd be clapping in 4/4 because that's how the track is charted (even though the notes are in 3/4)

  • @ATalkingFish The beat lines don't even line up with the notes. It would sound dumb.

  • @SHAuriscope Yeah, that's what I'm saying

  • @ATalkingFish Oh, whoosh.

  • @ATalkingFish

Just think of the clapping in terms of a polyrhythm

  • @ATalkingFish

Just think of the clapping in terms of a polyrhythm

  • Lets suppose that you were able, every night, to dream any dream you wanted to dream...

  • also lol @ the singer and bass player who don't do a thing through the entire song

  • so much beauty

  • So fucking awesome

  • At 0:58, you should use the 4-note patterns of G-Y-B-O and G-R-Y-O to further differentiate between the notes being played. At 2:41, I know it seems like I keep getting on at you about this but you keep getting it wrong! WRONG TIME SIGNATURE.

Other than that, SUPERAWESOME. This is a band I would NEVER have thought would come to Rock Band! First Math Rock ever on Rock Band if I'm not mistaken?

  • HOLY FUCK YES!

  • totally nutso
