David was my favourite, I had only know him and Christopher so it was easy for him to be my favourite. Whenever a new doctor comes my family always go "Oh dear..." but soon enough we loved David. And me and my dad love Matt. He is so energetic its awesome

OK, I saw the first of Matt Smith's Doctor Who series and I kinda like. I guess this logo works with Matt whereas it wouldn't have worked with David, but then again the old logo wouldn't have worked with Matt, so everything works out just fine!

The theme tune was wrecked and I have to say I get lost in the plot...alot...but back the the point the acting, I think, is just satisfactory, especially of the companions. I was complaining SO much about David Tennant leaving the show, its hard for me to recall everything negative I said.

Man was I proven wrong last saturday...

Matt was AMAZING...his first episode was leaps and bounds better than David's first episode... in fact it took me a while to warm to David...

Stephen Moffatt= GENIUS ...the idea the Amy has gone travelling the day before her wedding = fabulous! cannot wait to see it develop

love the new logo. simple but effective. i do hope the new credits are all change to the in your face names from the eccleston/tennant era. I'd personally like to see the face of the doctor back and better yet a quick morph of all doctors before settling on matt smith. another idea would be to close in on the tardis opening in space and matt smith. end credits would see the reverse and the doors closing and leaving tardis in distance

I don't think so. An RTD-era Dalek appears in episode 3, but we then get introduced to the new designs. So if it's appearing in series 5, albiet briefly, I doubt RTD took it away.

@JamiePS3Howitt Well, you were right about most things. The logo's not two-tiered and the renegade and imperial Daleks, unfortunately, didn't return.

Instead, we got Daleks that remind me of Power Rangers. I'm not incredibly fond of them, but they weren't Moffat's idea. The 2005-2009 ones were much more classic.

I'm sure the Daleks will return to the original design one day, anyway. Looking forward to Series 6.

I read they're changing the theme, but they better not mean the theme itself. Alter and new version, fine. But not get rid of THE running-since-the-60s theme.

That's the shows soul, the Doctor Who theme. It can only be remixed and altered, but not removed.

I hope they use the other version of the logo, though. The one layed out as Doctor (TARDIS thing) Who. It would suit an opening.

It might be us misinterpreting what they said! By change the theme, they most likely mean the the version, not *the* theme.

The theme is changed every series or Doctor, so they're most likely refering to that. New or remixed version, not an actual different theme all together... I hope.

As much as I love David Tennant (my favorite Doctor) he's ready for a change and quite frankly so is the show. I mean really, how much farther could he have taken it. It would have ended eventually anyways. I'm looking forward to seeing where Matt Smith takes the character, I think he's going to do a great job, he did good on the regeneration, very funny with the "still not ginger". As for the logo it looks nice I like it.

The new logo has sort of a 60s/Art Deco feel to it, and I like it. Yeah, I said it. I like the new one. More so the DW that's designed to look like the TARDIS.

The old one was nice but I'll be just as happy when the new series begins in the spring.

Gee, so many people getting so annoyed at a logo, for Christ's sake! It appears for maybe 10 seconds in the entire episode. It doesn't affect in any way the story or the acting. Matt Smith is going to be a great Doctor; why else would Stevenn Moffat have chosen him?

It's not too bad. I don't mind it. I am Crazy over the last one though. I loved it flying past the screen at the end of every episode. There was something real about it. Like it was more then just a graphic. I doHope the tittle sequence stays the same. I always get goose bumps with the spinning TARDIS and when it changes direction into the other colorued vortex.

The full "Doctor Who" bit is good, it reminds me of some of the original Doctor Who for some reason but I don't like the "DW" bit making the TARDIS, especially when it is sitting next to to the full bit.

The old logo was really Sci-Fi to be honest and seem to follow the feel of the series this one is kinda like you took a step backward.
