@RasIsBoss I haven't yet. I just keep trying... but I haven't really gotten anywhere with it. I might check out a library or something... though I probably won't get anything. It's a shame that this hasn't got the attention it deserves, and the tutorials...
I can't find any decent tutorials/lessons/info on the topic of palatal whistling. I can pucker whistle pretty well... but I'd like to expand my horizons!
Anyone know of any good info/lessons/tuts on palatal whistling?
I went to school with a kid who could whistle 6 different ways; one of the ways he may have whistled was through his throat, but it's been a LONG time since we went to school together, so I don't remember.
Anyway, I was thinking palatal whistler when I saw this video (perhaps because that method is more common; most of the whistlers I know whistle via the pucker and/or palatal method), but he could just as well be whistling through his throat. Either way, that's pretty darn cool!
I don't know yet... I would like to, but it will depend on my work schedule. Have you ever been to the IWC? (Do you whistle?) I've never been, but have been seriously thinking about it for the last couple years.

@patriciagenevieve I just e-mailed Allen the other day to tell him, I can't go this year. I will probably have to wait a few more years because I'm sure it will be in China & Japan again for the next couple years... I'm so bummed.
