When I went for a field trip on Thursday, they were already finished building it and they were testing out the track and the train was running along the track...it does;nt look too fast but it looks like a hell of alot of fun

I got to see the track complete and everything (which I've seen a million times before), but unfortunately I didn't get to see it test. Apparently the construction walls are down for the "thrill" part of the ride, not the splashdown area yet.
Yep, it seems that most of the schools picked the worst possible day to go on the trip. It's going to be a HUGE media day. Expect most of the local stations and theme park groups to be there.
Hey buddy, there's more than this coaster. There's Kraken @ SeaWorld. There's also Incredible Hulk, Dueling Dragons, The Mummy, and the new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit @ Universal Studios. Orlando has seven theme parks so enjoy living in Orlando.
because i go to Florida Spring 2009, and I hope Rip Ride Rockit and Manta will be opened then. I go from 25 april till 10 may, do you think it's opened then
Nope, Manta isn't even open yet. They finished the track work on December 11, but it's not expected to open until Summer due to all of the themeing, foliage, and animal exhibits.
I expect that we'll see some ride cars arriving soon, so that should be interesting, and perhaps SeaWorld will post an official POV once they get the cars on and start testing.
Meh, I wouldn't say that it looks "ugly"... just weird now with Manta there. Kraken is still (in my opinion) one of Florida's best coasters, next to SheiKra and Montu.
It's called "One Drop" from the Believe show. The official Believe soundtrack can be purchased at just about any gift shop in the park.

Yes, they had changed it from Summer to Spring, but now it's back to "Summer 2009" on the construction wall signs.

Same here. Although, I do think that Manta looks a bit better than Rip Ride Rockit. I'll take a B&M flyer over an Maurer Söhne X-car coaster any day!
