  • Now that's how it's done..love it...great. 5* I'll have to give this one a try.

I have a version (I just posted Halloween) that my guitar teacher (Gerry Beaudoin) showed me "back in the day", like 30 years ago... I sure I've "corrupted" it over time...it's a little different chords but it's still "Spooky"...I'll give it a "video response" ...a little different flavor, I have fun with it.

Dale your the ARS man-- ha ha. Thanks for the info.

  • Thanx man for another great old tune. I do believe this was originally done by the Classics IV. I've played this in a couple of different bands through the years and it has always been well received. See ya later gonna go and play this right now.

  • hello my friend...great post and very appreciated!

  • @SteveInRye Atlanta Rhythm Section was Classics IV, they changed their name.

  • No kidding? I never knew that. You learn something new everyday so they say and today I did. Thanks for the info.

  • AHHH some more FUNK! Yeah!! Really love that sound!! Now I gotta work on my rhythm! Thanks Dale! Fantastic post as always! ` Newbie question Dale: How do you keep the guitar steady when doing all those barre chords all around the neck? I never even see you adjust the guitar

  • hello sir...really appreciate your post and thanks for giving your time to check this out! I try to hold the guitar like i would if i was using a strap and it stays pretty balanced - hope all is good!

  • Without a doubt one of the BEST licks (chordal) in the whole canon of rock and roll music. I don't know how many times i've jammed on this for sound check. There's always someone who yells out "Spooky"! Thanks, Dale.

  • very cool tune and thanks for your post!! All the best with your music,

    dale
