i hear ya kevinu1 on the nostalgia aspect, this was my freshman/soph year in college---jamming out, skatin, just loving being young and carefree...but, as others have said, you don't have to necessarily "grow up"...we all get older, but it's okay to jam to great music. Also, it's okay, like me, to pick the skateboard back up at 30 years old and do your thing. Getting older does tend to carry a bit more responsibility, but it doesn't mean you have to give up the things ya love

fuck me if im wrong. but isnt like half the chorus just ripped from a descendents song? i forget which one but "you dont know what you want, it may take you years to find out" is right from a descendents song, i think its hope. yeah hope. its taken outta that. a tribute or a rip off?

Yes and no... they are somewhat the same....
Decendents: "You don't know what you want it's gonna take you years to find out"
Face To Face: "you don't know what you want it may take you years to find out"
Being that The Decendents released that album in 82 and Face to Face album released in 94 I think.... I would go with maybe tribute but by changing the few words they avoid any copy right laws for sure!! I have also heard someone else use somewhat the same lyrics but I can't remember who...

yeah i just remember being really pissed off when i heard it lol. i bought like a load of face to face's albums but the first song was this one and i instantly hated them xD i know thats stupid but to me it seems like a rip off

@Radification , i heard it on the Tank Girl soundtrack...it was the perfect song for the scene. ..cept the tempo of the song was faster on that version of it.
