No matter how much flop the film was, this song is awesomely good. I hate it when people judge songs on the basis of their origin films. For e.g I was watching an award function, where, the nominations for the "best song" were sasuraal genda phool (delhi 6), shukran allah (kurban), iktaara (wake up sid) etc etc etc.. And guess who won the award?? Sasuraal genda phool. Just because the film Delhi 6 was a hit, it never means that the song also was better than the other songs. Clear partiality.

Sanatana Dharma is another reference to Hinduism if I am not wrong. You should not take the term 'Indian' or 'India' as you are assuming it to. I used Indian in the general sense i'd repeat that.

There was no country called India at the time Gautam Buddha was born. :) What we know as India today was then as much a part of much greater "Bharat Varsh" as was Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka, a lot of Pakistan and some portion of Afghanistan.
