theres like a huge alarm going off in the spirit realm right now. He was praying on a public sidewalk in the nation that says "in God we trust" ...something is about to happen.

And i am glade we are getting arested as this proves Gods word as we are to prosecuted,I am glade there are people to ARREST US AS BEING PROSECUTED TO PROVE YOUR FAITH IS THE WAY WE ARE TO DO IT.
I will say this,to screem from the roof tops As we are intructed,But to pray in a closet in sercret also as we have been instucted. There is a diffrence in yelling the word of God and praying in a closet. If our rights to even pray in a public setting then we need to get arrested, its our right to get arrested and prosecuted for our faith.I would rather get arrested for my faith then not, this man has the right stuff.
In most any other country, it will have finished with blood and curses, so America is still a great country, but it 's loosing that greatness of freedom more and more ! Too bad !
By the way, you lied prolifenews when you claimed that he was preaching on a public sidewalk. Since he preached inside the fence, he was preaching on private property. This nasty pastor did not even take the homeowners' sensitivities into consideration. Would I want to be bothered by a Christian at MY house!! LOL... Obviously, my answer is no!
Damn Christians!! Pity...they are already destined for a nasty afterlife for following an incorrect religion while alive. What a worthless piece of shit and waste of space this particular Christian is.
I seem to recall how Christians harass gay people by claiming they are going to Hell for being gay while alive. How do you feel like it Christians?!
He's trespassing, which is breaking the law. It doesn't matter if he's a preacher or a flower enthusiast, IT'S TRESPASSING. It's Private Owned Property. The cop even told the guy to his face that it's Private Property. How stupid can this guy be. Then he's saying he's like the blacks being segregated in the 50's.
I'm going to break into a home and when the cops show up, I'll tell them that I was praying so they won't arrest me. Maybe I'll break into this guys house, nice suit buddy ;)
Wait til you are under Shariah law! Muslim men can kill members of their own family under certain conditions. We need to allow abortions for a condition that threatens the woman's life, in the case of rape & in case of incest. Funny I did not see anyone come out of the building & ask the police to remove the man. Just my opinion.
these people are just trouble makers, the area inside the fence is clearly private property, pray on the streets if you need to but trespassing is a crime & he should have been prosecuted for it,
also why is he wasting his time praying that the building will be used as a beacon for human rights & freedom.
it already is, the people using it have human rights too.
Almighty G-d, may every Planned Parenthood clinic go out of business and become a Holy House of Worship. In Y'shua's name and in the power of the Holy Spirit I pray for this. Amein.
The line looks clear to me. It's called a fence. Outside the line, pray all you want. Inside the line, respect the request of those who own private property. In the United States, church property is considered private. Would churches be welcome to diametrically opposed groups coming onto their property and having a rally, even if it was peaceful?
The title is completely misleading as he was onviously trespassing and violating the very constitution he is waving, THE RIGHT TO PROTECT PROPERTY.
This is the reason christians were fed to the lions, not because they were christians, but because they meddle in other people's business, break laws and all around bully people.
“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you”
@online4videos - I believe that is in reference to personal needs and issues. There are plenty of places where there can be public prayer, like when we cry out against an injustice against humanity, when we are calling for all to stand in prayer.
@prolifenews There is nothing wrong with openly praying brothers. This is just an attack by the enemy. I'm tired of people saying keep it to yourself, when 100 years ago, they wouldn't have said squat ;) Keep up the faith!
@online4videos Then I guess daniel, a humble servant of the Lord, in daniel 6:10 was violating Jesus statement as well.. He prayed with his windows opened despite the decree that was sent out... and was thrown into the lions den... God sent angels to protect him... Your taking the verse out of context, for we can openly pray, the Bible says SHOUT unto God with a voice of triumph.. not mumble under our breath.... The scripture is saying do not pray out loud to show off how pretty you can sound.
@Hairyhole1 Yes, you are correct that Daniel chapter 6 clearly shows that Daniel violates Jesus' mandate about praying in public. You blatantly point out the contradictions and inconsistencies of The Holy Bible? You post things to make it sound like The Bible was written just by humans, without God's help (thus explaining contradictions and inconsistencies that would not be seen in a divinely-inspired book). You are sneaky and subtle how you undermine The Bible by parading its contradictions.
@online4videos You make me laugh at how prideful you seem to be, like you know everything and everyone else opinion is incorrect.... Taking one small verse out of context and making it seem like im saying the Bible is a contradiction... You my friend are saying it is a contradiction.. for saying that daniel violated Jesus law for praying in public... for daniel was a prophet and a man of prayer, he walked very close with God, hand and hand.. Are you saying that daniel betrayed Jesus? ..
@Hairyhole1 It was YOU, not me, who veered this conversation into this direction when you EXPLICITLY pointed out the contradictions and inconsistencies of The Holy Bible, when you stated how Daniel chapter 6 violates Jesus' explicit admonition against public prayer (Matthew 6: 5-6). Then, you have the AUDACITY to say that it is ME who is quoting The Bible out of context. It was YOU who pointed out the context (YOU comparing the verses, YOU showing the admittedly obvious contradictions). You.
@online4videos Because i certainly know that I'm not saying that.. I love how you try and change the subject from praying out loud to contradictions with the Bible as well.. The Bible does state to shout unto God, and in a lot of other books it mentions praising out loud, and praying openly.. like i said in the beginning, its funny how you got off the biggest rabbit trail ever from taking 1 verse out of context, its because of people like you that we have many false doctrines out there.. thanks
@online4videos : you are rigth when you talk about praying in private. But the fact remain that they were on a plublic place. Is muslims have been arrested when they prayed in the white house whit Obama? The answer is no, rigth?
@online4videos Shut up! When Jesus said that, he didn't mean that if we pray in public He won't answer us. This is what He meant: "Don't pray so people can see you pray and praise you for it. Pray genuinely." In other words, don't act like you're praying just to be noticed.
The guy is so arrogant. His tone is "wow, what has the country come to when they would arrest a CHRISTIAN? When they would arrest a CLERGY man?"
Well, listen, dude, the law should not care what your religion is or what type of con-man you are (whether you sell phony real estate or phony gods). Either way, if you trespass they should lock you up.
@online4videos - Planned Parenthood stole public property & Rev. Mahoney was arrested illegally. The District has dropped charges against him and they have apologized.
@miniontemple the "moron" you speak of stood for the truth and we are now allowed to pray on the public sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood again. just because you are pro-abortion doesn't mean you have to let your brains leak out & not support the rights of all people.
@prolifenews Were you or were you not there to cause a stir? I support your right to do whatever, but I cannot approve of your actions or your blatant disregard for the feelings of the mothers that have to make such difficult decisions.
Christians break the law, and they have the nerve to say they are being persecuted ... what a bunch of crap. " A clergy person" as if that means he gets special treatment .... arrogant ass hole, and then to dare to say it was like racism ...
@prolifenews So you can sit in the grass and be a dick head to other people, well goody gum drops for you. Perhaps you should get REAL fucking job and become a contributing member of society, instead some asshole with his fairy land characters.
@missjestrum - we are all people. you just want to be able to assassinate innocent babies. in my frustration with baby killers, what i am saying is that i am not interested in getting pro-abortion people on my side. in fact, of course i am. i wish that all people would see that killing our children is not a good thing to do. pro-abortion people are people too. you can be kind, considerate and loving. i just can't understand your love for baby killing though, over 1 million every year.
Hey Pastor Mahoney your doing great work out there..crazy how time flys, keep up the good fight for me and my children's generation. Because it seems like noone these days realizes how much the government is stripping us of our freedom one day at a time.
Incremental restriction of First Amendment Rights on public property has already happened in Dearborn, Michigan, favoring Muslim Free Speech over Christian.
Private property owners often use law enforcement by complaining about citizens NEAR their property exercising First Amendment Free Speech Rights. Some patriots are not familiar with their rights and are intimidated into leaving. In this case, prior ongoing use could provide precedence for easement in certain jurisdictions even on private land. The pastor states that ACLJ assures the sidewalk in question is indeed public property.
He wasn't arrested for praying of a public sidewalk. He was arrested for trespassing. He was forewarned BY the arresting officer that he would be arrested if he crossed the fence line and was not in the process of trying to conduct business in the clinic. They even generous enough to let him finish praying. Your own video clearly shows that. You prolife people never cease to amaze me the lengths you will stoop to make yourselves the victims by lying through your teeth.
@themanofearth He was being arrested for unlawful entry, not trespassing. This is public property, and he did nothing illegal, keep in mind. Would be no different if you were arrested in a public park for reading a book aloud to your kids.
@ArchieLovesMe Um no? The officer clearly stated that he (the officer) was informed by the city's lawyers that inside the fence line was private property and that if he crossed it, he would be arrested.
He crossed the line.
He was arrested.
There's no confusing what happened unless you're dense, deliberately trying to lie, or just def. As a practitioner of parkour I'm very familiar with those types of laws.
He wasn't arrested for praying. He was arrested for being where he was TOLD not to go.
@themanofearth First of all, the snotty, arrogant attitude doesn't say much for you. Secondly, the grass is not private property, fence or not. If I chose to go down and eat my lunch on the grass, I'm free to do so. It's the praying that they have a problem with... the pro-lifers who've been praying and counseling there for years, peacefully. They just recently put up that fence, btw. The officer was carrying out orders passed down by higher officials who step right over Constitutional rights.
@ArchieLovesMe Sorry did that come across as snotty and arrogant? I didn't mean it to.
On your second point you're (again) either dense, openly lying, or def. The officer clearly stated that he had been informed by the city's lawyers that past the fence line was private property so... Based simply on the information in this video... No opinion, no rebuttal: You Are Wrong. Period.
@ArchieLovesMe Now the fact the the US attorney failed to show at his arraignment means virtually nothing. He was acquitted through technicality. The constitutionality of his arrest was not determined. Though do to the fact that the if area leading to the door from the sidewalk becomes icy & someone slips they can only sue the business/resident & not the state, were he to bring a 1st amendment case to court he would most likely loose.
@ArchieLovesMe And just to jam this point home so there's less for you to get confused about: "If I chose to go down and eat my lunch on the grass, I'm free to do so." If you're on public property the answer is yes. If you come and do that on my residence/business lawn without permission the answer is no.
"They just recently put up that fence, btw." So, if there've been trespassers on my property in the past that I've done nothing about and then I put up a fence, they have the right to cross it?
@themanofearth Sorry, I hadn't realized that your residence/business property is heavily funded by the US federal government as is PP. Again, he was charged with unlawful entry, not trespassing. Mahoney stated that at the end of the video. You're totally ignoring most of what he said, however, for whatever reason.
@ArchieLovesMe The fact that Plan Parenthood gets loads of federal funding has absolutely no baring on whether or not the property that Plan Parenthood occupies is on is public or private. If the amount of federal funding that a organization receives determines whether it's grounds are public property I should be allowed to enter the pentagon and have a picnic in the middle of the hall.
@themanofearth Also, slapping up a fence and a sign on public property does not make it private any more than pasting a sticker on your forehead that says 'Mayor' would, well, you get my drift. By the way, I think the word you're looking for is "lose", not "loose".
@themanofearth "Today, June 29, 2010, Reverend Mahoney appeared in DC Superior Court to answer to the nonsensically bogus charge of unlawful entry. The Office of the United States Attorney today announced that it was declining to prosecute the charge of unlawful entry against Reverend Mahoney." Atty. Jim Henderson
@prolifenews'Gusb, don't be ridiculous. every cell in our bodies is not a human being'
If human cells arent human what are they from a frog?
Human saliva is human, a human hand is human and yes even a human fetus is human all have human DNA and can Given recent advances in genetic all become potential human beings.
This does not Make any of these thing human beings (Persons)
Agian none of these can are equiped to hold ideas, emotions, memories, senses.
Im sorry I believe you are being mislead by a large disinformation campaign.
If you believ you have some recent studies published in accredited medical or science journals that contradict what the Extensive study below , I am open to this evidence.
Regardless of one's opinion on abortion, this is particularly troubling as a first amendment issue. In most places, this sidewalk might be part of PP's property. However, in DC, it is NOT. This was researched and shown many years ago. This is a simple matter of people being arrested for nothing more than peacefully stating an opinion on public land. That is called freedom of speech and is guaranteed by the Constitution. What's next? Christians required to wear a yellow cross?
Sidewalks line streets (hence the name) - they don't lead directly up to building entrances. Just because it's a walkway composed of concrete doesn't mean it's a public sidewalk.
I think it is reasonable to say that even though he is outside....once he crosses past that fence he has entered private property. It's a lot like if someone was protesting on the streets about your family, and then walked into your driveway to protest. Why couldn't he have just been praying right outside the fence? It's almost like he was trying to get arrested.
@farvision Are you inferring that because you know how to use Google that somehow makes you a legal scholar? How do you figure it is "clearly private property".
@prolifenews No, I'm a scientist, not a lawyer. The google access makes it easy for everyone to see the layout there. The sidewalk is penetrating the property. Such sidewalks would not be public property. It would have to be a very very unusual boundary. google: washington dc land records gives the The Washington DC Recorder of Deeds which would have the records, but they require signing up and the records cost something apparently. The evidence is there to test my claim.
@farvision increases in sexual promiscuity. planned parenthood teaches sex & passes out government funded (your money) condoms and birth control pills. they fail resulting in millions of unwanted children. PP lines them up & kills their children. seems insane if you ask me.
@prolifenews No. Look at the name. Planned parenthood educates people on the legal options available and provides services for those options. An educated person will chose options to avoid unintended pregnancy and hence will avoid abortions. Religions smash people over the head with only some options that are known not to work well (abstinence). Neither you nor I like abortion. So educate people enough and there will be none. Force them to be ignorant, and the problem will remain.
@farvision Farvision, you have the most humorous post of the year. You are suggesting that killing skin cells is the same as killing fertilized eggs? And you call us idiots?
@prolifenews Well, considering that scientists are very close to converting any cell into a stem cell, from which one could clone a human, a skin cell is equivalent to a fertilized egg. Don't get me wrong - I don't think abortion is a good thing to do - but the only people who are going to reduce abortions is Planned Parenthood because they educate people and provide alternatives. An educated person does not get pregnant unintentionally most of the time.
@farvision Hmm, so you are saying that a skin cell is equivalent to a fertilized egg. you need more school. if a skin cell were used to create a clone, than that would be a human life, not beforehand. man, all i have is a high school degree. this doesn't seem so hard to me!
planned parenthood doesn't "reduce abortions". that's a fallacy that is spread by them. it has been shown around the world that wherever they go there are more abortions, not less. there are also extreme increases...
@prolifenews I have a PhD in molecular biology and more than 20 years of experience publishing in the field, so I have a pretty clear idea of where our science is,
though I'm certainly not an expert on that subfield. Every cell has the same DNA (ignoring immune cell DNA rearrangements) and a set of transcription factors can be changed to switch cells back. So a skin cell can be changed into an embryonic cell and then into a human. Dolly is an example actually.
@farvision My PhD, i dare you to say to any of your school buds that clapping your hands is the same as killing an embryo. go ahead, i really, really dare you. :)
@prolifenews Education reduces pregnancies. The bible belt of the south is heavily controlled by religions. That's where most teen pregnancies occur, google
teen pregnancy map and look at the images. The data come from the CDC, google
cdc nvsr57_07.pdf It is the religions that are causing the problem to be worse!
@farvision Actually, what the map probably reflects is that the bible belt carries their babies to term whereas the liberal, pro abortion north kills them in the womb.
Well it looks like a walk way on private property to me .
its within there fence line.
I wonder how the pastor would feel if people protested even legally on the side walk in front of his home or church?
That guy at the end it an idiot , your rights stop where another persons rights begin, you dont have the right to encroach on other peoples rights or property; the property line is that line.
@gusb232 Gusb232, you are probably pro-abortion, so for you to say "your rights stop where another persons rights begin, you dont have the right to encroach on other peoples rights or property", you are completely disingenuous. Don't humans in the womb have rights?
@gusb232 A fetus isn't a human being? what do you suggest it is...a frog? the 14th amendment says nothing about life in the womb. you obviously know nothing about "current laws". it is legal to kill a baby in the womb at any time all the way up to the moment of delivery.
what if you were born not able to feel pain? what would you think about that being the "core to being human" then? could we execute you?
@prolifenews "A fetus isn't a human being? what do you suggest it is...a frog?" Sadly, such a question is one people like gus will not take the time to answer honestly. They are much more comfortable with mindlessly repeating their favorite sound bites and pretending they have a rational position.
A fetus isn't a human being? what do you suggest it is...a frog?'
Not sure if you are being deliberatly hardheaded but No.
I said a fetus was not a human being as in person.
of course a fetus is human, but so is every cell in our bodies so is our excrement for that matter. We dont consider them to be human beings do you? The 14th ad. grants rights of being a person Only to those that are Born.
And like I said abortion os only legal in a Very small cases after third trimester.
@gusb232 Gusb, don't be ridiculous. every cell in our bodies is not a human being. show me where it says the 14th amendment "grants right of being a person".
abortion is legal all the way up to the moment of delivery. right before the baby exits the womb, a woman can say, "NEVERMIND, JUST KILL HER, I REALLY DON'T WANT HER NOW".
man, i can't believe how unintelligent you "intelligent" left-wing, pro-murder people are.
@prolifenews 'how me where it says the 14th amendment "grants right of being a person'
Section 1 guarantees rights only to those who are born. read it urself.
'abortion is legal all the way up to the moment of delivery.'
Again Yes it may or may not be legal to preform an abortion or forced early delivery (if fetus is viable) it depends on the presence of serious risk to the mothers life.
Again abortion is not murder if the fetus is NOT a person. U believe fetus is, but evidence is against u
'Gusb, don't be ridiculous. every cell in our bodies is not a human being'
No thats exactly what your saying that there is a certian cell or cluster of cell that is considered a person. You mights well say a frog is a human they atleast have acomplete funtioning nervous system, a fetus does not untill about 29 weeks.
That why I agree with laws that 'restrict' abortions in the 3rd trimester.
@prolifenews Not true abortion is only legal before the fetus even resembles a human, never near delivery. I'm pro abortion but I would still oppose an abortion near delivery. You can't spread lie like pro choice is pro murder when saying that is what makes people murder, you are pro murder by misinforming people and making them think that their murder is justified, I mean its not even manslaughter nevermind murder.
@explosivoification - you are 100% wrong my friend. abortion is legal all the way up to the moment of delivery. as a matter of fact, as long as the baby comes out feet first, a woman can decide to kill her child even if her baby is outside of the womb, up to the naval/belly button.
@explosivoification - The US of A my friend, baby killing is legal all the way up until the baby is ready to take a breath of air. do a search on abortion law in the US
@prolifenews 'what if you were born not able to feel pain?...could? we execute you? '
It much more disparate then that. a fetus before the 3rd trimester does not have the capability to feel pain, or hold thoughts ideas including the idea that they exist.
The possibility of a consciousness is not present.
There would be no me to execute, Becuse I would not have a concept of 'I' because such A thing would not be possible without a sizable amount of nerochemistry or complete nervous system.
@gusb232 "I agree with current laws that restrict abortions to before the third trimester except in cases of serious risk to a mother health." You don't really understand current laws. Please do some research before posting again.
@gusb232 "well you are probably wrong I am not pro-abortion, I am pro-choice!" I am amused by the way people actually get defensive about this and pretend there is a difference. If you don't have a problem with abortion why do you so vehemently deny you are pro-abortion? Tell me one practical difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion. ...not a statement of beliefs, but a genuine practical difference. Both support the same legislation, the same people, the same abortion industry.
@gusb232 "A fetus is NOT a human being" Actually, it is. That is not a religious or philosophical position, but simple science. Even pro-abort doctors acknowledge, almost unanimously, that a fetus is human. Your argument has not been taken seriously for what, 30 yrs, now? Is that REALLY what you think? You would be well served to do a little studying on such an important topic, especially before publically flaunting your ignorance. Also look at the practical consequences of 'current laws'.
A Systematic Multidisciplinary Review of the Evidence
JAMA 2005~
'Pain is an emotional and psychological experience that requires conscious recognition of a noxious stimulus. Consequently, the capacity for conscious perception of pain can arise only after thalamocortical pathways begin to function, which may occur in the third trimester around 29 to 30 weeks’ gestational age,'
@gusb232 "all evidence indicates that it is not possible for such fetuses to process pain or even hold ideas, what is core to being human " LOL!!! really? Can you quote any such evidence? I hate to repeat myself, but you were fundamentally wrong in EVERY statement you made in your post. In a couple hours of honest, basic research, you could easily discover that for yourself. ...yet you persist in wilful ignorance. Good luck with that...
I know some people will get emotional because you call it prayer but objectively speaking it's not the first time someones been arrested for protesting on public property.
The police determined that it was private property (perhaps, perhaps not),
The officer didn't say you couldn't pray 3 steps to the left on what is public property in their views or anywhere else deemed public property.
Fair enough that the officer was probably wrong in the end, but
you disobeyed HIM and what HE stated, and YOU didn't provide evidence that would change his mind besides your own word that it exists (a re-occuring theme in christianity).
@philstilwell Just because the officer says it is private property doesn't mean it is. The city maintained that area and the water main located on that sidewalk is public property. It is public property.
@philstilwell Just because you put up a fence doesn't mean you own the property. The city refused to provide evidence that this was private property. If the repairs to the land are done by the city and if there is a public water manhole, it's most likely city property.
It looks very much like the inside perimeter of a walk way to a non-public building to me.
That could be construde as private property to most people and you didn't even attempt to retreive the information to prove otherwise, you were warned and you did it knowing full well what the outcome will be.
This has less to do with 'freedom' and more to do with your lack of ability to understand protocol. You haven't made yourself a hero, you made yourself into an ass.
@godlessmessiah You know nothing about this situation so to call me an ass is just making an ass of yourself. The city would not provide us with the requested information and they even had to check with their superiors before they were allowed to arrest Rev. Mahoney. Just because someone says it is private property doesnt' mean it is so.
"so to call me an ass is just making an ass of yourself. "
i can see more people agreeing with my statement then yours.
"the city would not provide us with the information"
Nonsense, you said yourself in your own video that the ACLJ reviewed the sidewalk themselves, So they reviewed your personal claim but block evidence of the review?
and correct me if im wrong, but I didnt see the video stop, followed by you heading off to attempt getting evidence for the police.
That's not just "simply praying". It's calling good people and professionals doing good work , murderers. When you use hate speech, be prepared to go to jail.

The line looks clear to me. It's called a fence. Outside the line, pray all you want. Inside the line, respect the request of those who own private property. In the United States, church property is considered private. Would churches be welcome to diametrically opposed groups coming onto their property and having a rally, even if it was peaceful?
I sincerely doubt it.

Reverend Mahoney violates Jesus' explicit statement since...
Jesus’ says to PRAY IN PRIVATE:
“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you”
(Matthew 6: 5-6).
online4videos 1 year ago
@online4videos - I believe that is in reference to personal needs and issues. There are plenty of places where there can be public prayer, like when we cry out against an injustice against humanity, when we are calling for all to stand in prayer.
prolifenews 1 year ago 2
@prolifenews You, like Rev Mahoney go against Jesus, who clearly says to PRAY IN PRIVATE.
Don't you believe in the power of private prayer?
John 14: 13 says "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do".
Matthew 7: 7 "Ask and it will be given to you".
Matthew 18: 19 ""Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."
The Bible repeatedly unequivocally promises WHATEVER you ask WILL be GRANTED. No maybe's.

Hairyhole1 1 year ago
@Hairyhole1 Yes, you are correct that Daniel chapter 6 clearly shows that Daniel violates Jesus' mandate about praying in public. You blatantly point out the contradictions and inconsistencies of The Holy Bible? You post things to make it sound like The Bible was written just by humans, without God's help (thus explaining contradictions and inconsistencies that would not be seen in a divinely-inspired book). You are sneaky and subtle how you undermine The Bible by parading its contradictions.
online4videos 1 year ago
@online4videos You make me laugh at how prideful you seem to be, like you know everything and everyone else opinion is incorrect.... Taking one small verse out of context and making it seem like im saying the Bible is a contradiction... You my friend are saying it is a contradiction.. for saying that daniel violated Jesus law for praying in public... for daniel was a prophet and a man of prayer, he walked very close with God, hand and hand.. Are you saying that daniel betrayed Jesus? ..
Hairyhole1 1 year ago
@Hairyhole1 It was YOU, not me, who veered this conversation into this direction when you EXPLICITLY pointed out the contradictions and inconsistencies of The Holy Bible, when you stated how Daniel chapter 6 violates Jesus' explicit admonition against public prayer (Matthew 6: 5-6). Then, you have the AUDACITY to say that it is ME who is quoting The Bible out of context. It was YOU who pointed out the context (YOU comparing the verses, YOU showing the admittedly obvious contradictions). You.
online4videos 1 year ago
@online4videos Because i certainly know that I'm not saying that.. I love how you try and change the subject from praying out loud to contradictions with the Bible as well.. The Bible does state to shout unto God, and in a lot of other books it mentions praising out loud, and praying openly.. like i said in the beginning, its funny how you got off the biggest rabbit trail ever from taking 1 verse out of context, its because of people like you that we have many false doctrines out there.. thanks

Incremental restriction of First Amendment Rights on public property has already happened in Dearborn, Michigan, favoring Muslim Free Speech over Christian.
groovsmyth 1 year ago
Private property owners often use law enforcement by complaining about citizens NEAR their property exercising First Amendment Free Speech Rights. Some patriots are not familiar with their rights and are intimidated into leaving. In this case, prior ongoing use could provide precedence for easement in certain jurisdictions even on private land. The pastor states that ACLJ assures the sidewalk in question is indeed public property.
groovsmyth 1 year ago
He wasn't arrested for praying of a public sidewalk. He was arrested for trespassing. He was forewarned BY the arresting officer that he would be arrested if he crossed the fence line and was not in the process of trying to conduct business in the clinic. They even generous enough to let him finish praying. Your own video clearly shows that. You prolife people never cease to amaze me the lengths you will stoop to make yourselves the victims by lying through your teeth.
themanofearth 1 year ago
@themanofearth He was being arrested for unlawful entry, not trespassing. This is public property, and he did nothing illegal, keep in mind. Would be no different if you were arrested in a public park for reading a book aloud to your kids.
ArchieLovesMe 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe Um no? The officer clearly stated that he (the officer) was informed by the city's lawyers that inside the fence line was private property and that if he crossed it, he would be arrested.
He crossed the line.
He was arrested.
There's no confusing what happened unless you're dense, deliberately trying to lie, or just def. As a practitioner of parkour I'm very familiar with those types of laws.
He wasn't arrested for praying. He was arrested for being where he was TOLD not to go.
themanofearth 1 year ago
@themanofearth First of all, the snotty, arrogant attitude doesn't say much for you. Secondly, the grass is not private property, fence or not. If I chose to go down and eat my lunch on the grass, I'm free to do so. It's the praying that they have a problem with... the pro-lifers who've been praying and counseling there for years, peacefully. They just recently put up that fence, btw. The officer was carrying out orders passed down by higher officials who step right over Constitutional rights.
ArchieLovesMe 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe Sorry did that come across as snotty and arrogant? I didn't mean it to.
On your second point you're (again) either dense, openly lying, or def. The officer clearly stated that he had been informed by the city's lawyers that past the fence line was private property so... Based simply on the information in this video... No opinion, no rebuttal: You Are Wrong. Period.
themanofearth 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe Now the fact the the US attorney failed to show at his arraignment means virtually nothing. He was acquitted through technicality. The constitutionality of his arrest was not determined. Though do to the fact that the if area leading to the door from the sidewalk becomes icy & someone slips they can only sue the business/resident & not the state, were he to bring a 1st amendment case to court he would most likely loose.
themanofearth 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe And just to jam this point home so there's less for you to get confused about: "If I chose to go down and eat my lunch on the grass, I'm free to do so." If you're on public property the answer is yes. If you come and do that on my residence/business lawn without permission the answer is no.
"They just recently put up that fence, btw." So, if there've been trespassers on my property in the past that I've done nothing about and then I put up a fence, they have the right to cross it?
themanofearth 1 year ago
@themanofearth Sorry, I hadn't realized that your residence/business property is heavily funded by the US federal government as is PP. Again, he was charged with unlawful entry, not trespassing. Mahoney stated that at the end of the video. You're totally ignoring most of what he said, however, for whatever reason.
ArchieLovesMe 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe The fact that Plan Parenthood gets loads of federal funding has absolutely no baring on whether or not the property that Plan Parenthood occupies is on is public or private. If the amount of federal funding that a organization receives determines whether it's grounds are public property I should be allowed to enter the pentagon and have a picnic in the middle of the hall.
themanofearth 1 year ago
@themanofearth Also, slapping up a fence and a sign on public property does not make it private any more than pasting a sticker on your forehead that says 'Mayor' would, well, you get my drift. By the way, I think the word you're looking for is "lose", not "loose".
ArchieLovesMe 1 year ago
@ArchieLovesMe Again that answer is a complete non sequitur based on the argument at hand.
P.S. Thanks for the spelling correction by the way. It's never been my strong suit.

CDRphoenix 1 year ago
Sidewalks line streets (hence the name) - they don't lead directly up to building entrances. Just because it's a walkway composed of concrete doesn't mean it's a public sidewalk.
gremlinn7 1 year ago
I think it is reasonable to say that even though he is outside....once he crosses past that fence he has entered private property. It's a lot like if someone was protesting on the streets about your family, and then walked into your driveway to protest. Why couldn't he have just been praying right outside the fence? It's almost like he was trying to get arrested.

@farvision Are you inferring that because you know how to use Google that somehow makes you a legal scholar? How do you figure it is "clearly private property".
prolifenews 1 year ago
@prolifenews No, I'm a scientist, not a lawyer. The google access makes it easy for everyone to see the layout there. The sidewalk is penetrating the property. Such sidewalks would not be public property. It would have to be a very very unusual boundary. google: washington dc land records gives the The Washington DC Recorder of Deeds which would have the records, but they require signing up and the records cost something apparently. The evidence is there to test my claim.

prolifenews 1 year ago
@prolifenews No. Look at the name. Planned parenthood educates people on the legal options available and provides services for those options. An educated person will chose options to avoid unintended pregnancy and hence will avoid abortions. Religions smash people over the head with only some options that are known not to work well (abstinence). Neither you nor I like abortion. So educate people enough and there will be none. @farvision Farvision, you have the most humorous post of the year. You are suggesting that killing skin cells is the same as killing fertilized eggs? And you call us idiots?
prolifenews 1 year ago
@prolifenews Well, considering that scientists are very close to converting any cell into a stem cell, from which one could clone a human, a skin cell is equivalent to a fertilized egg. Don't get me wrong - I don't think abortion is a good thing to do - but the only people who are going to reduce abortions is Planned Parenthood because they educate people and provide alternatives. An educated person does not get pregnant unintentionally most of the time.
farvision 1 year ago
@farvision Hmm, so you are saying that a skin cell is equivalent to a fertilized egg. you need more school. if a skin cell were used to create a clone, than that would be a human life, not beforehand. man, all i have is a high school degree. this doesn't seem so hard to me!
planned parenthood doesn't "reduce abortions". that's a fallacy that is spread by them. it has been shown around the world that wherever they go there are more abortions, not less. there are also extreme increases...
prolifenews 1 year ago
@prolifenews I have a PhD in molecular biology and more than 20 years of experience publishing in the field, so I have a pretty clear idea of where our science is,
though I'm certainly not an expert on that subfield. Every cell has the same DNA (ignoring immune cell DNA rearrangements) and a set of transcription factors can be changed to switch cells back. So a skin cell can be changed into an embryonic cell and then into a human. Dolly is an example actually.

I reject that concept and so does the 14th amendment. A fetus is NOT a human being /person.
I agree with current laws that restrict abortions to before the third trimester except in cases of serious risk to a mother health.
all evidence indicates that it is not possible for such fetuses to process pain or even hold ideas, what is core to being human
gusb232 1 year ago
@gusb232 A fetus isn't a human being? what do you suggest it is...a frog? the 14th amendment says nothing about life in the womb. you obviously know nothing about "current laws". it is legal to kill a baby in the womb at any time all the way up to the moment of delivery.

of course a fetus is human, but so is every cell in our bodies so is our excrement for that matter.

Again Yes it may or may not be legal to preform an abortion or forced early delivery (if fetus is viable) it depends on the presence of serious risk to the mothers life.
Again abortion is not murder if the fetus is NOT a person. U believe fetus is, but evidence is against u

No thats exactly what your saying that there is a certian cell or cluster of cell that is considered a person. You mights well say a frog is a human they atleast have acomplete funtioning nervous system, a fetus does not untill about 29 weeks.
That why I agree with laws that 'restrict' abortions in the 3rd trimester.
gusb232 1 year ago
@prolifenews Not true abortion is only legal before the fetus even resembles a human, never near delivery. I'm pro abortion but I would still oppose an abortion near delivery.

The determination was that is was on private property. Why are you falsely tagging this video?

@philstilwell Just because the officer says it is private property doesn't mean it is. The city maintained that area and the water main located on that sidewalk is public property. It is public property.

@prolifenews
You made a claim in your title.
Either substantiate your claim, change your title, or be exposed as someone intent on distorting the truth.
philstilwell 1 year ago
@philstilwell Just because you put up a fence doesn't mean you own the property. The city refused to provide evidence that this was private property. If the repairs to the land are done by the city and if there is a public water manhole, it's most likely city property.

@prolifenews
The absolute claim of "public sidewalk" in your title minus the admission of "most likely" in your comment will reveal your degree of deceit.
Whatever ideology you represent, you've given a bad name.

@prolifenews
You haven't made yourself a hero, you made yourself into an ass.
godlessmessiah 1 year ago
@godlessmessiah You know nothing about this situation so to call me an ass is just making an ass of yourself. The city would not provide us with the requested information and they even had to check with their superiors before they were allowed to arrest Rev. Mahoney. Just because someone says it is private property doesnt' mean it is so.

@prolifenews
(ass)

@godlessmessiah - we're not blocking anything. there are lawsuits & there will be more protests to follow.
