I want to let you know that my heart goes out to you for your story. I currently am waiting for care in the mental health system and I am undergoing the same problems that your son faced with the system, being rejected everywhere i can.
I wish the system worked better. Its so sad that money is more important to the government than getting people the care we need.
Your son's story is not in vain. In making this video it shows the rest of us that we are not alone and urges us to hang on.
I got an e-mail on August 7, 2008 from a friend of mine, she asked me for Mom's cell phone number and said "I would rather tell her something that I would rather not write"; so the three of us played 'message hopscotch' and no one told me details.
I find out through Mom that Rosie's son committed suicide in February; I didn't know until September 11, 2008 that the son she meant was a good friend of mine, Will Jones. He was only 30. I've cried my ass off ever since I heard. I miss him so much.
We tried to get our son help too. but in the end he begged and cried not to be locked up. the mental health system and gun laws are too lax.mental "hospitals are nothing more than prisons. it breaks my heart that in the end financial worries killed my son. his story is similar to yours. miss you, Trav 78-05
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your brother. I am a mom with a beautiful surviving daughter. Trav was her only sibling. Can you please email and tell me how you feel towards your parents. If it is too difficult to talk about it I understand. I just would like to know how to help my daughter. I love her very much.thank you.

I wanted to tell you how deeply sorry I am for you loss. I also lost my only sibling to suicide in 2000. We never get over it....
