Hi Chef, I made Chicken tikka masala, chicken biriyani, fish biriyani. that was very good in taste. so I am following all of your vedeos and trying new one everyday. Thanks a lot for these vedeos becoz these are very helpful for me to make a wonderful dishes..thanks lot . God Bless You
I really Like Wah Re Wah :) I always use only his videos to cook :) The best part is he mentions the reasons and explanations of all his procedures and ingredients :)
HI! Sanjai, I am a great fan of you. i tried many of yr dishes. some of them came good and some r not b'ze of my mistakes. today i'm going to try this spinach daal. I'm really thanking for ur nice way of presentation, giving us good inspiration in cooking.
I love to eat a lot but recently I have started to eat smart. I wanted do know which vegetable is the best for cleaning out my stomach. I hear Spinach is effective but are Collard Greens or Broccoli any better or the same?
As a Registered Dietitian, there is no such thing as "cleaning" out your stomach. Throughout the day the stomach dumps partially digested foods into your small intestines.
Tomato and Spinach together make kideny stones. However, I make tomato dal separately and Spinach Dal separately. I pressure cook Spinach with Dal, and just do seasoning like you started and mix the dal into it. It is even simpler that what you showed. But I feel like watching your videos, even though I know cooking, so others may benefit like how you say it every time you demostrate a recipe
That is the popular belief in India, that palak and tomato should not be eaten if diagnosed with kidney stones. Scientifically it has not been proven that it will cause stone formation. The controversy is because of the oxalic acid content. But then some other vegetables have more oxalic acid content than tomato and spinach. Just don't eat anything in excess, drink lots of water, and you don't have to worry about getting kidney stones from this:)
It is actually suggested by both doctors and nutritionists. Not only Spinach, any leafy form like Cilantra, cabbage, mint, basil, are not recommended to cook with Tomatoes, because the seeds in tomatoes tend to form stones when they are mixed with leafy vegetables like Spinach. It is recommended to cook tomatoes without seeds. Yes, it is scientifically proven.
well i have heard some stupid things in my time but this takes the cake. the relation between spinach and tomato to create kidney stones is as foolish as the idea that the earth is flat. come on read a book or two
i guess working in the national health service here in engl;and puts me at a significant disadvantage from your academic reply. many good and healthy wishes to you and may you be always free of kidney stones. bless in hoc signo vinces t

I dont think that comabination of Spinach and Tomato is not goof for health. I know many dishes in which we use bothe together like Alook Palak, Tomato Spinach soup etc...
hi chaf.. its really good..am a newly married girl and i learnt so many cooking from vahrehvah.. and daily mu hubby will be telling vahrehvah... thanxxx very much...
hey sanjay, its funny but i've got so much used to watching your youtube videos that even if i know how to cook a dish, and i've watch ur video b4, i'm still seeing it before cooking it again :)...something like brushing it up....u certainly did inspire me to cook man...thanks and keep enlightening and entertaining us...
@krishh17 u r absolutely right. exactly i also do.i thought its not enough just to vote up ur comment.i feel very bad when people give ugly comments for sanjay.i like his style of presentation.i m enjoying cooking after i started watching his videos.
Hey Guruji well certainly many r gettin inspired like me. i gotta a small doubt/may be its a myth that tomato n spinach don't go along...well am sure u r rite as u r not just a great chef n got a good health consciousness but also a great 'Guruji' the inpirer u rock mate
thank you very much for the wonderfull service u are doing to the humanity , u are in tru sense my annadatta . yesterday i made eggplant and tomatu curry and i was very tasty , many thanks to u
I am purchasing a new set of pots and pans soon. The coating on my non-stick pan has peeled away. I think the cookware you use is another important aspect to the outcome of your dishes. I have noticed that most of your pots/pans are just stainless steel, not non-stick. Please suggest the brand and types that you have had success with. I would really appreciate it!!!
