Chances are there were a lot of shortcuts you missed. For Casino Park, most of the pinball tables require less than 10 seconds to get across them because there's a way to land near the top of them. For BINGO Highway, near the end there's an "aerial BINGO" that can take up to a minute off your time.

P.S. About that statement in your description, I really don't know... I'm pretty sure that they developed something to protect the city from bad weather, and if not well then it might as well be a very big blowout show which would have really destroyed the whole city. And, IMO, this place also takes my approval for the coolest place ever.

Speed Highway from the original Sonic Adventure is even weirder, since the highways suddenly end on buildingtops full of helicopters and have moving platforms themselves. And they're full of killer robots, like everything else in Sonic.

BTW, have you played the Sonic game for the 360 and PS3? (the name escapes me) Is it any good? I don't remember if that one got a good or bad review from fans.

I've been with Sonic since the original was released. While I enever got the Genesis version, I still have Sonic 1 for the Game Gear.

Sonic 2006 got almost entirely negative reviews. People say that this was THE most unplayable of the Sonic games. I don't have a 360 or a PS3, though I'd love to challenge that notion as I did for Sonic Heroes and Sonic and the Secret Rings.

hi overhazard. i played sonic 2006, and i thought it was really good. although there is a lot of glitches, and gameplay was frustrating at times, i still enjoyed playing it. i thought the graphics were awesome, sonic's custom abilities were fun to mess around with, and silver/shadow gameplay was interesting. still fun though! the storyline was really good in my opinion, like a movie. you couldn't predict what would happen, there was a lot of twists and turns.

Sonic Heroes is for the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox (but the PS2 version is messed up and glitchy). Sonic 2006 is for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Nope, no boss battles. You're just using Team Sonic to get to the end of each stage. (I wish we could hav used the other teams, as the Team Blasts for Rose and Chaotix would be very useful in Super Hard.)

As for finishing the regular Casino Park quickly, there's a trick to each table that can get you up to the top quickly or at least let you start near the top. I think the programmers knew this, as Sonic's time limit is 5 minutes.

Robot Storm? I remember how utterly annoying it was with Team Chaotix, having to launch everyone out of the cannon to shoot the flying enemies in the distance. That was the last A-rank I got before I unlocked Super Hard Mode.

When I began playing Super Hard Mode, I was really fearful that I'd have to face souped-up versions of each boss, but when I finished Ocean Palace and went straight to Grand Metropolis, I was relieved.

That part is one of the hardest portions of the Super Hard Mode for me. Aerial control as Sonic isn't very well-refined in this game, and the little platforms destory Sonic's momentum trmendously.

It's too far for Tails to fly through, by the way. I tried it before. The robots' machine guns usually mess him up before he can even land anyway.

You unlock Super Hard Mode when you DO get A-ranks in every mission. "Almost there" doesn't unlock it.

Anyway, Super Hard Mode makes the stages longer, the enemies more difficult and greater in number, and limits the options you can make getting through a place.

People mostly blame Sonic Heroes' problems as a worse version of those in the Adventure games. I think people like to hate on it because the problems in the Adventure games were largely left in this one too.

The slot machine near 03:35 is where I tend to get alot of my extra lives on this level as any of the teams. If you're persistent, then you could easily get 999 rings there, which probably makes this slot machine the easiest place to get enough rings to complete Team Chaotix's missions there imo.

I find BINGO Highway an easier place to get lots of Rings, actually. There seems to be fewer enemies there, and the bingo tables provide 200 Rings if you can get all of them. Super Hard Mode sure throws a lot of wrenches, however, in that lots of spiked enemies are sitting there.

my favorite Casino course was the one in Sonic DX, of course the fact that it in itself was like a hub(and I'm a sucker for hubs) certainly helps...

I like casino levels too. I like the way they look, and Casino parkis mercifully short compared to the other stages. It also has some pretty neat music.

This is the last stage in Sonic games I know of to actually have slot machines, however. There have been casino stages since then, but they don't have slot machines.

Yeah, I had even worse troubles in the BINGO Highway tables. I think I'll re-record that one, since it took me 13 minutes due to all the pinball unintuitiveness. I think I can do it again without that and finish within the YouTube time limit.
