The fact of the matter is, the only reason she was "loyal" to him is because she was too stupid to see what was going on right in her face. Shes a pathetic self-pitying child. As Don predicted, as soon as she learned about his past, Betty left him for an older man that made her feel good about herself. Shes like a ceramic vase, beautiful on the outside, hollow on the inside.

I feel like with this show there isn't a main plot or climax that you ever look forward too. Like most shows, everything that happens is just a part of larger story in which at the end will be some big twist or something. Its just like every day drama. but for some reason, i just can't get enough of it.

I think one of the things I love so much about the show is the way they act and talk. It reminds me of the way older people used to act when I was young in the 80s. People just don't have the art of conversation and the high level of sophistication, polish, manners, ethics and pride these people have on the show. I love the show because it takes me back to A time with no cell phone, CPUs, not much TV, you could smoke everywhere and drinking was ok too. Everything was quality made in america.

@hendo337 But I interpret it completely differently. I don't think that's what the show is trying to put across. I always saw it more more as a mockery of the 60s and the doom of it all. It is picking apart society and saying: this is what we've done, is it any wonder we are where we are now. A scene that stuck with me was the pic-nic they took in Don's new Cadillac Coupe DeVille, where they leave all their litter and drive off. It's arrogance and greed, reflection on society with nostalgia

@KrayzieA22 I will be VERY surprised if Breaking Bad doesn't de-throne it this year. BB's last season was perfect, and it is fully deserving of being declared the best show on television. Don't get me wrong, I love Mad Men but BB deserves it at the next Emmy awards.
