Your tutorials have been WAYYY helpful, thank you. question on the dodging daggers. could you do a regular set of daggers entering from the back and then spinning 180 degrees while watermilling and then doing another set of daggers but entering from the front going behind you. does that make sense? haha. im asking this because i cant figure it out. great workkk!
Yes, what you describe definitely can be done (and I do it!). I think you mean 'hip reels' instead of 'watermill' though....common misconception. Watermills are like a corkscrew done vertically in front of you with the back half between your arms/body....NOT spinning back/forth on both sides of your body (ie: hip reels). No worries though....like I said, common misconception. But yeah, the answer to your question is definitely YES!
Well, more or less. Your body basically stays in one spot, your legs alternate which is in front/back and your hands move forward/backward to facilitate the UTL spins. They will stay about the same distance apart and one always in front of the other, but to be able to spin UTL, the front hand will have to go under and behind you and the back hand will have to go under and in front of you. So they keep the same relation to each other, but will have to move forward/back.
Nah, those have another poi set I made inside them. They're monkeyfist knots with a golfball core. If you're looking for a good weight for sock poi, try tennis balls or a small bag of beans/rice.
You don't have to lift the legs at all. Basically, you step around the poi. You position one foot farther forward/behind to give it an 'entrance window' and once the poi has entered, switch the relative positions of these feet so it has an 'exit window.' The next poi enters in this position and you repeat as you did before.
Yeah, good idea! I think anyone who wishes to learn this move should become VERY familiar with UTL spinning and even UTL weaves before ever attempting it. It's tricky enough if you know all that....but would be way worse without.
i found it easier to learn if you start with putting one of your legs on a table an practise 2 beat weave UTL a couple of times under each leg from diffrent angles before u start with ur tutorial so u get the feeling for how the poi will move
I could not find a tutorial for Dodging the Daggers ANYWHERE on youtube. THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)

Ok, I think I get the general Idea, I can do both legs seperately just having a little trouble putting it together.....Watch this space :)

I got tennis balls with a bag of beans about the size of a golf ball, wrapped in a smaller sock stuffed inside.
