If you're having trouble focusing the image when you go cross eyed try looking at the third screen. You get three copies of the video when you go cross eyed so instead of looking at the middle picture try looking at the right or left. It works better for me anyways =D

@masdubation close your eyes for a second, sleep, or go outside and look into the sky, which is probably the farthest thing away from you so your eyes go back to pointing almost straight again. if this doesnt work, go see your doctor for eye removal surgery, they'll be replaced with goat testicles.

I can view 3d videos in parallel only so I had to switch view to parallel but it seems like there's too much distance between the two cameras it's so hard to converge images from different distances in the video because the 3d depth seems to be overly exagerated. It should have been better if the cameras were spaced just as wide as the eyes so the 3d presented looks more realistic and the depth won't be overly done.

@ofngol youtube adds these above the video, at least in crosseyed. Did you check your settings?

You should never cross your eyes to watch 3D; that'll harm your vision. Use the "Parallel" setting instead, which is how your vision normally works.

@MjrTom2009 But crosseye 3D is very easy to learn and more people can handle this than they can with parallel 3D. Also parallel 3D limits the size of the video, because it's very difficult to squint "outward".

I don't feel THAT much 3D, like I can almost bring the pictures together. This one is the easiest to do, but I only truly got it for about 3 seconds. I can usually see 3 different screens that eventually merge into one. It is enhanced, but not very much...

How did you make the video in 3d? I have no limits but I dont see how you did the 3d thing (i figured out the view thing using the fly view but how did you make the video itself in 3d?)

@mmmmmthai I basically recorded the coaster twice, so once for each perspective. Then I just put the two videos next to each other and then render. You can use any video editing software, that is capable of 3D-editing or using multiple videos at once (I use Adobe Premiere)

@YPOC92 Ah ok but i was wondering, when you make them, do you start to record as its loading so that you can synchronize the videos by trimming them both to the same time it starts/finishes loading or do you use another method? And btw... what coaster-type is that called in nolimits? is it the inverted coaster?

@mmmmmthai I think the easiest way to synchronize them is to synchronize the sound, i.e. when the station's breaks release oder when they first apply in the final break run. Synchronizing it just by the video can be hard because the videos aren't taken from the same pov.

and it's the 4seated inverted coaster (B&M-Style) ;)

@SaviorQuest The simulator is NoLimits Rollercoaster Simulator, and I have designed the coaster with Newton2.

That's because there's an easier way of doing it (magic eye uses it) cross-eyed is actually harder to do and to use it it has to be flipped around

For some reason YouTube has a problem with the newer 3D options. When I have it set to cross-eyed, I almost ALWAYS have to check "swap right-left." Lame.

@YPOC92 Ah, those settings work better. Still, the two viewing angles set for each eye don't line up with one another n the foreground. Distance looks fine but the foreground isn't done properly.

If you hover over the 3D thing, you can actually choose the 3D method you prefer, amazing. Took me a moment to work this out. I quite like the crosseye method, some can't do that, though. Nice Vid.

@ramonfatima you have to be able to focus on something you don't look at, like when you look at the frame of a window and focus on what is outside.

Then pause the video and try to overlap the two images by crossing your eyes to get a third image in the middle. Now try to foxus on this image, there you'll see this in 3D.

I just want to make a note,these two images are conflicting in the sense that theyre both viewing straight ahead only one is slightly to the left,this causes the images to cross rather than overlap which hinders the 3d effect slightly.
