Ok as far as speed, should the weight coming down be fast, slow and controlled or is this best left to how it feels best.... I think I fail on the bench due to bar speed on the way down....
One of the 3 methods of building muscle; max effort, dynamic effort, and repitition method. Repetition is pretty self explanatory, it's higher reps. You choose auxillar exercises, that are not power lifting staples, and do higher reps, and short rest periods.
