X had played earlier at Butler that year and should have one that game if it wasn't for a lucky Hayward shot and a clock malfunction. And this was before X was as good as they were in this time of the year. I guess the same can be said that Butler got a lot better as the year went along but I feel X would have won that game despite the fatigue. Crawford wouldn't have let Butler win.

Xavier would have played Butler in the Elite 8 had they won I do believe, which would had been a very winnable game despite Butler's cinderella run. But hey, this game was ridiculous.
