sounds heavier than hell! They should remaster this album man.. jason was shadowing the guitars my ass.. the basslines were so distinctive, the only way you would manage to turn down the mix for the bass on AJFA was to cut it out completely.

Neh, the thing with the And Justice For All basslines is that the settings of the bassamp itself are a bit bad. Too much bass, not enough tone, the treble is fine. If he lowers the bass and increased the tone a bit and put it on the album at this volume it would sound perfect and you'd here it perfectly.

I think Jason did an excellent job on the bass..but I think his bass is turned up a bit too loud on this mix. Pump it down about 3 db and it would probably mix well...but that is my opinion.

HELL YEAH!!! Jason didn't deserve to have his bass track turned down in the original album version, that was really shitty of James and Lars to do that. The song has such a better feel and it just sounds so much more full now that you can actually hear Jason...awesome

this album is amsterpiece and one of the best metallica albums ever with MOP and RTL, but if you want to hear the bass you have to really pay attention to it, and that was you wont be able to listen to the music, cause you have to focus on hearing the bass more than anything, and you will hear it, but its still very quiet, thats the reason why i dont think this album is totally perfect, if we could hear the bass better like in here, this would be their best album, even better than MOP and RTL
