The Sammy McKim that Jones refers to was a familiar child actor in westerns at that time. He worked a lot at Republic Pictures, appearing in the Lone Ranger serial and the Three Mesquiteer films. He later became an artist at Walt Disney studios.
How many films did you make back then, Dick? I can' t recall, how many stupid questions like that have you asked in your lifetime. If the interviewer had done some simple homework ahead of time, like checking the IMDB movie base, he would have that information.
@TheFrontrowkid Keep in mind that most people in the audience dont know that kind of info so the interviewer is asking those questions really for the audience members to get some history on Mr. Jones

I would have loved to be in that audiance. Not only the voice of Pinnochio, but an icon of Hollywood's glory era.

Very nice interview with the voice of Pinocchio himself.
Dickie Jones is the last surviving main cast member of Disney's "Pinocchio".
"Pinocchio" is one of my Disney favorites ever.

Yes, and so does the movie! It's wonderful to see that Jones is still with us to share what it was like to work on this film.
