One other thing, for all the parts I could see the crew was too far forward while trapped out. To keep an H16 from pitchpoling the skipper and crew have to be buddy buddy tight together and far back on the hull. Once that bow goes under the boat flips.
It capsized because the crew was WAY to far forward on the tramp in the tack, and the leeward bow went under, and it turtled because the crew was STANDING ON THE SAIL, and they sissy skipper didnt want to get wet so he was STANDING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRAMP. Once it turtles like that its 10 times harder to right the boat.
Why dont you just head up instead of sheeting out
